• The most common type of cross-gable is a partial-width, front-gabled porch, that forms the cross gable. HIPPED ROOF • This type is similar to Prairie School houses. It is considered a Craftsman when it has exposed rafters or brackets. FRONT- GABLED ROOF • Porches are evenly divided.
