Pupils at WolverhamptonGrammar School celebratedafantastic setof GCSE resultstoday.

This year’s bumper crop of 9, 8 and7 grades (equivalenttoA*and A) aretestament to thefantastic teaching andlearningenvironment on offeratthisco-educational independentschoolwhich hasbeeneducatingstudentsfor over 500years andisrenownedfor not only itsacademic rigour butalso foroffering exceptionalpastoralcareand the largestrange of extra-curricular activities amongstschools locally.

Head,AlexFrazer, said:“This year we have been able to provide an even broaderand more diverse GCSE offering at Wolverhampton GrammarSchool.

“Weintroduced business and computer scienceGCSEs twoyears ago, andwealsocurrently have our firstcohort of GCSE dramastudentsstudyingfor examsnextyear.

“Weare overthe moon with the achievementofour Year 11 students, taking examsfor the first time since2019.

“I feel extremely proudofhow hard they have workedfor their exam success,and of theway my staffherehavesupported them throughout.”

This summer,71.6% of GCSE entriesatWolverhamptonGrammar School have been awardedthe most sought after9, 8and 7grades(A*/A equivalent), with 85.6% at grades 9 to 6(A*-Bequivalent)
