Mount Morgan Central celebrates NAIDOC Mount Morgan Central State School celebrated the achievements of indigenous students during a NAIDOC ceremony on Thursday 7th August. Mary Rose Donald-Nord, with her brother Zephyr and Lanie Martin (pictured) acknowledged the traditional owners of this land to begin the awards ceremony. Students were recognised not only for excellence in Sporting, Cultural, Citizenship and Academic achievements, but having a high level of attendance at school.

Happy 60th birthday to Greg Toby for the 18th of August! Lots of love from Maree, Stiiles, Takiah, Zaine and Amber, Mum and Melray. Cooper Garrett and Montell Oram (pictured below), the youngest and eldest indigenous student cut the NAIDOC cake.
