Crenshaw Christian Center East serves diverse New York community

Located at 96 a Street and Central Park West in New York City, Crenshaw Christian Center East (CCC East) serves a diverse population in the Metro New York region. The geographic area includes the states of New Jersey and Connecticut as well as New York and members come from as far as Pennsylvania and upstate New York. Over fifteen hundred members call Crenshaw home.

Under the leadership of Founder and Pastor Apostle Frederick K.C. Price, CCC East has witnessed a surge in growth in recent months. Local residents in the prestigious Central Park community surrounding the church are coming out in greater numbers. CCC East serves a population spread ranging from young professionals to active senior citizens.

Programs at CCCEast are designed to meet the needs of its diverse congregation. There is an active Seasoned Saints Fellowship which sponsors numerous activities for seniors throughout the year. «New Flo,» the weekly Friday night youth program reaches numerous youth from the community in addition to the youth who are members of the Church. The youth programs range from annual events such as Gospel Night at the Nets Basketball arena to a large delegation of youth attending the 2010 Annual FICWFM Convention in Los Angeles. sponsorship of the annual «Hallelujah» night for youngsters held at the church which is the Christian church's answer to Halloween night. Youngsters from the neighborhood are invited to attend.

For the past two years, CCCeast has been the host church of the «Metro New York City Night to Honor Israel» which involves churches throughout the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area. Each year, prominent leaders of the Jewish religious, political and social. community participate with Christians in honoring the State of Israel. Similarly, CCC East has been the host for two years of the «Cry Out America» program held in commemoration of the tragic event of 9/11 and involves prominent religious leaders from around the country in an evening of prayer for the nation that is televised around the world. Services at CCC East are held to meet the variety of New York schedules. There is a Tuesday Noon Day Bible study, Tuesday evening corporate prayer session, Thursday Night Bible Study and Sunday morning worship services. Men and Women Fellowships meet throughout the year as does the Singles Fellowship which has an active program for young adults.
