Altas Language school offers various language courses of different levels. The school has a number of proffessional teachers and very friendly staff. Everybody loves to help you. It is amazing. There is a warm and familar atmosphere in the school. The social programm and the afternoon classes are very helpful to improve my Englisch. Furthermore I enjoy being together with my classmates in the afternoon and at the weekend.

• 20 ore di inglese pomeridiane a settimana con insegnanti motivati e certificati CELTA in una scuola per studenti adulti situata in una zona facilmente raggiungibile; lezioni dalle 14 alle 18 • Certificato di partecipazione al corso di inglese (80 ore); • Certificazione esame GESE Trinity College London a fine corso in base al livello raggiunto;

Listening task: ascolto di 3 brani letti dall’esaminatore con 2 diverse task di comprensione Topic presentation: presentazione formale di un argomento scelto dal candidato Topic discussion: discussione di un argomento scelto dal candidato Interactive task: interazione spontanea e collaborativa tra candidato ed esaminatore Conversation: scambio di idee e opinioni su due aree di conversazione scelte dall'esaminatore
Alloggio in famiglia • Famiglie selezionate in zone residenziali raggiungibili con Travel card fornita; • Studenti alloggeranno in 2/3 per ogni famiglia; • Vi chiediamo di accordarvi tra voi e di compilare il form indicando uno o due nomi con cui condividere l’alloggio in famiglia; • Vi chiediamo di avvisare SEMPRE telefonicamente la famiglia nel caso in cui non possiate rientrare per la cena o per l’orario serale
Pasti ed esigenze alimentari I pasti sono forniti dalle famiglie ospitanti; considerate che gli orari dei pasti ed il cibo potranno essere diversi da quelli a cui siamo abituati in Italia: quindi avrete l’opportunità di abbracciare e apprezzare tali differenze culturali. Comunicate comunque alle famiglie se ci sono alcuni cibi che proprio non vi piacciono.
La colazione è continentale (cereali, toast, succo, the o caffè); Il pranzo al sacco (panini, una bibita, frutta e uno snack); La cena sarà a base di carne, pesce o pollo con verdure e patate o a base di pasta con insalata. Sarà un momento importante da trascorrere con la famiglia ed allenare il tuo inglese!
Attività ricreative e sociali • Le attività sociali saranno svolte con cadenza bisettimanale con eccezione della prima settimana in cui verrà aggiunto un tour orientativo per conoscere la città; • Vi sarà sempre un group leader Atlas ad accompagnarvi; • La scuola proporrà escursioni fuori Dublino a pagamento il sabato: potrete iscrivervi compilando il form affisso in bacheca settimanalmente • La domenica è la giornata da dedicare alla famiglia o all’incontro tra amici;

Welcome to Ireland! We really hope you enjoy your stay... Staying with a host family is a great experience and one of the best ways to understand Irish culture. Here’s some advice to help you get by: Please only speak english at meal times and when you are in the company of your host family How was your day today?

Please just have one shower a day.
Please let your family know if you are not going to be home for dinner, or late for any reason, in advance.
be mindful of being in another family’s home. Please behave as repectfully you would want a foreign student to behave in your home!
Remember that the food will be different from what you are used to. That’s all part of the experience!
