Lasswade Rugby Teams The S1/2 team have had a very successful first term. They currently sit top of the Midlothian league remaining unbeaten in both tournaments. They have also travelled into Edinburgh and after a clean sweep in the first tournament were only beaten in the second by a very talented Royal High team. The U16 team had a great semi-final win in the Brewin Dolphin Edinburgh, Mid and West Lothian U16 Plate against Linlithgow amid the fireworks on November 5th, running out 19-10 winners. They then lost in the final, again to a very good Royal High team. The U18 team have still to play a decider against Craigmount High School in the Brewin Dolphin Edinburgh, Mid and West Lothian U18 Regional Bowl—Pool B. Over 100 staff, parents and pupils attended the 3 Autumn Internationals at Murrayfield. Rugby training continues indoors over during the winter on Thursday at lunchtime in the games hall.
