THURSDAY, SEPT. 3 All Members are invited to bring a new, prospective member to learn more about the Club, interact with membership committee and board members and take a tour of the Clubhouse. Club Members should contact the membership department to make a reservation and to register their guest. Mark Twain Society and Craft Beer Club Cigar-B-Que (DT)

SATURDAY, SEPT. 12 Enjoy a delicious barbeque and cigars at this event taking place on the Downtown Clubhouse garage rooftop co-sponsored by the Mark Twain Society, the Associates and the Craft Beer Club. Price includes barbeque and craft beer. 5:30 p.m. $37.50 per person

MAC Golf Club Championship (Glen Echo)

THURSDAY, SEPT. 17 Participate in the 2020 MAC Golf Club Championship at Glen Echo Country Club. Price includes a round of golf, hors d’oeuvres and prizes. $65 green fee ($22 cart fee) MAC Golf Club members receive $25 off their first round of golf (first 36 to register)

Women of Distinction Luncheon (DT)

FRIDAY, OCT. 9 Honor seven St. Louis women for their professional achievements, leadership and character. This year’s honorees are Christine Candio, Theresa Carrington, Kate Ewing, Mary Elizabeth Grimes, Genny Jessee, Katy Vu and Rising Star Katie Shields. 11:15 a.m. – Reception 12 p.m. – Luncheon 12:30 p.m. – Program $60 per person, inclusive

Fourth Annual Classics and Cocktails (WE)

THURSDAY, OCT. 15 Join fellow MAC Members for the third annual Classics and Cocktails Happy Hour sponsored by the Business Development Group. Military History Club Meeting (DT)

TUESDAY, OCT. 27 This month, MHC welcomes Peter Cozzens, a retired Foreign Service officer, who has written numerous books about the Civil War and the Indian Wars. He will speak about his newly released book, Tecumseh and the Prophet: The Shawnee Brothers Who Defied a Nation. It is the early 19th-century tale of two brothers who lead the last great pan-Indian alliance against the United States. 11:30 a.m.

2020 Annual Veterans Day Commemoration (DT)

THURSDAY, NOV. 5 Celebrate and honor all those who have served the United States, especially those who gave the ultimate sacrifice at this Veterans Day commemoration. 6-9 p.m. $30 per person
