more mobile bunkhouse added to our fleet; three since 2016. Our mobile bunkhouses provide safe, secure, climate controlled accommodations for our disaster responders working in difficult areas. Each bunkhouse sleeps 12 and has an on-board power plant which enables us to begin recovery operations on day one.

new flood mitigation ‘mud-out’ trailer is being outfitting at the MNA DR warehouse in Rome GA. The speciality disaster recovery trailer holds two belt-driven high output power-washers, water buffer tanks, generators, dehumidifiers, de-watering pumps, light trees, etc., everything teams need to pump out, clean out, and dry out flooded homes.

shower trailers deployed to Hurricane Harvey and Irma PCA recovery sites in TX and FL. The First PCA, Stanley NC shower trailer is shown here in Bonita Springs FL. We expect to conclude operations in FL by the end of May. Shower trailers provide clean, warm showers for disaster responders and displaced homeowners during recovery efforts. MNA currently coordinates six shower trailers, but we need more!

first responder trailers have been purchased and assigned to MNA DR Regional Coordinators during the last year. Regional staff are available to train and plan with churches for the certain coming storms. Let us know if we can conduct a workshop at your church or presbytery. Presbyteries with DR plans have proven to both help others and recover more quickly.

staff are now serving in MNA Disaster Response, ShortTerm Missions, and SecondCareer. I thank God for recently bringing Andrea Deshotels to help us with volunteer mobilization. This from Andrea to her MNA co-laborers, “This "season" I learned more and more about just how much effort goes on behind the scenes at MNA Disaster Response, and how selflessly each of you have been in giving up time with family, comfort, and who knows what else to be salt and light to folks who are in need. Thank you, thank you, thank you (and praise HIM!).”

disaster-damaged church physical plants have been restored through the efforts of MNA DR, some of those would have closed without denominational efforts. We consider this one of our greatest responsibilities, given to us by the PCA General Assembly. Eight churches and hundreds of families were greatly assisted by MNA DR during our Harvey, Irma, and Maria efforts.

Sheds of Hope have been built by MNA DR volunteers on the property of storm survivors in Houston since August 2017. Another six are ready to go in Dallas TX and 20 ready to go in Rome GA. We would love for you to embrace this hands-on mercy ministry that has blessed so many disaster-displaced families. Please join with us!

We hope to finish the work and dedicate the campus to the glory of God soon. Please consider bringing a team to help with the renovations; your efforts will bless many disaster impacted families.

rotations have made around the sun by me! My lovely children made it home to celebrate Hootfest and God’s goodness to me in February. Erin is 34 and a forestry geneticist in OR, Levi is 31 and an architect in TX, Gray is 30—he and his lovely wife Megan are home builders and designers respectively in TN. Finally, Katherine is the most lovely human, in all ways, that I know; Psalm 127: 3-5 comes to mind.

prayer letters have been sent by me to my supporters since MNA took a chance and asked me join with them to advance God’s Kingdom through church planting and Spirit-led deeds of mercy. Since that day I have coordinated more than 55 relief operations in 24 different states. Thank you for your partnership! I could not be here without your prayers, love, and strong financial support. Thank you for understanding the importance of this work and your kindness to this ministry. Our team’s passion to undertake this important work is robust and expanding; we are encouraged by the shear number of volunteers serving, networks developing, resources in place, and training underway. Thank you for supporting this vital work—will you join us in asking the Lord of the Harvest to provide these additional resources during 2018? • More exceptional staff called to serve with us; Priority - Pacific States and Atlantic NE Regions. • New to us individuals, churches, presbyteries, and foundations who can partner with us, allowing us to organize new ministry in underserved regions. • Stamina for staff coordinating long-term responses in FL and TX. • Wisdom and good stewardship of God’s resources as we plan and execute our responses.

of what you give goes to the staff member or project you designate. Support is also needed for our core operational costs, e.g., assessment, mobilization, equipment, training, warehouse & training center operations, administrative support, etc. It is my personal priority to insure good stewardship of your gifts so that we can channel more resources to those in great need. Please prayerfully consider increasing your financial support this year.
