Case Study – Canada

Greater than 100% penetration can be expected by 2015 in Canada. With a population of 34M people growth of 1-2% per annum can be expected over the period. One of the core communications policies of the administration is to ensure reliable, affordable telecommunications services to all parts of Canada, including rural and remote areas where it is not always economic for commercial operators to provide service.
