For broken souls, wounded wings,

free will and brave hearts

Vera had a beautiful big bird. The bird had pink purple f long pointed mouth and a pair stretched wings. No one her bird except herself. There was a sword in her bird's ch done by the eagle many years ago. Vera knew it hurts, bu hadn't died yet. Fortunately, but it can't be said that ther lucky element in it. She dared not pull out the sword. She would hurt more and her bird would die.

Vera locked her bird. She knew she had to do it. She must p bird, even though her bird was dissatisfied with it.

Vera knew that the eagle was always there. Her mother said they were far away from him, but Vera knew that he was still flying around outside. No one could control him. She could always see the eagle looking at her in every corner. At this time, she would hold her bird tightly and keep him away. She knew that the eagle would hurt her bird. Vera knew that her bird wants to be free and fly wherever she wants to go, but she must let her stay by her side and can't let go. Because the eagle flew freely outside, how could her bird be free?

Vera was always alone. She had no friends. Although she knew that no one kne happened to her in this quiet town, she habitually avoided the crowd. Vera also people who can open their hearts and get along with everyone, but she was afr herself, just like a bottle with a tight bottle cap, and doesn't want a drop of w out. Vera would listen to the laughter of her classmates, but she could not turn o called trust. She would frown and hide by herself so that no one could find her.

Vera's mother grew a beautiful little garden for her. Her mother hoped that the flowers could give her comfort and make her feel happier. Vera liked those flowers very much. Looking at their bright colors and smelling their fragrant smell could easily break her confused thoughts which like a ball of wool. She often couldn't sleep well at night. The sleep of lying in bed and making formal preparations at night made her nervous, but she always fell asleep in the garden unconsciously.

But dreams were not always good. Actually, they were often chaotic and disturbing, like black flowing viscous liquid, like floating on thorny peaks, like rotating and locked eyebrows.

She fell into a deeper dream, where there were all the things she feared most. The hands that tore and bound her, the fierce eagle on the man's clothes, the eagle, was the eagle! His sharp claws became huge, as if to pierce her thin body. She felt that she had become thinner, because it seemed that she was in the past, with a smaller age and body. Those ridiculed and speculative faces stared at her where she was most afraid of being seen and talked about her. The petals are stacked but fragile on her. The flowers that could can comfort her can neither cover her nor protect her now. Her body seemed to break and dissipate with the petals. Vera ddid not know whether this is her in the dream, her in the past, or...her in reality......

People always save themselves at the most critical moment in the dream. Many times Ver would wake up directly to break free from her dream, but this time she did not. She felt tha she had fallen on the hard and cold ground. The ground is cracked from under her bod and the red exuded from the ground was like blood or magma. No matter what it was, scared her. No matter what it was, it would drown her and made her burn. She shrinked he self into a ball, and her space seemed to be squeezed smaller and smaller by the surround ing Black Hills. Was the ground going to crack? Suddenly, she heard a loud bird cry——

Vera woke up, but soon she fell into another round of fear, because her right hand and she couldn't feel the weight that reassured her. The chain was broken.

The bird turned and flew away, leaving her behind, and she hurried after her. Vera could not let her bird flew away by herself. Although she was still furious with her, she could not leave her alone. She knew that the eagle was nearby and had never left her. He stared at her bird and waited for the opportunity to catch her.

High in the air circled a flock of black eagles with their feathers upturned. There was never just one, they were everywhere, and they were in groups, covering each other. By the time Vera arrived in a hurry, the eagles had surrounded her bird and she watched in shock, anger and horror as pink and purple feathers, red and blood spattered all over the sky. The eagles tore at the wings of the bird, and her bird gave a shrill whine.

Ouch! It really hurts! But Vera knew she had to do something, she had to get that sword out to protect her bird, she was going to fight, win or lose, no matter the outcome, she was a warrior. Pain! Pulling out the sword in her heart, she could feel the blood from the wound, burning red as her anger, pouring out. But she knew they'd all be fine. This time, she was going to put her fear behind her, she was not going to run away, and she wanted to be brave for her and her birds.

The eagles flew at her as if she were so vulnerable. How dare they? After hurting others, they still fly around the world arrogantly, as if people like her have no power to resist and can let them threaten and attack at will. This time she was no longer afraid to see blood. She fought back with a sword. Your prey also had their own claws and weapons.

The eagles were shot down by her, turned into as sword in her hand and looked at the dissipated bl dissipated with them. The wound on her heart ha was gone with the cloud of black thoughts.
