We suggest you soak your used nappies (but not the waterproof covers) in a bucket ½ to ¾ full of water until you have a wash load. If desired you may add one of the following: 5 drops of Tea Tree oil or Bio-D Nappy Fresh (we sell both).
A 60ºC wash will adequately cleanse your nappies (always follow the washing instructions on the label). We recommend you wash at least every 3 days. The covers can be washed up to 60ºC with the nappies or can be washed in a cooler wash with the usual clothes wash.
Although both the nappies and wraps can be tumble-dried, it is both cheaper and ‘greener’ to hang dry. Sunshine will deodorise, sanitise and naturally bleach nappies.

Choose from pristine white, natural unbleached cotton or in the Sandy’s™ and One Size™ nappies a new selection of 7 bright rainbow colours (the rainbow colours all have a white terry inner). Mother-ease rainbow nappies are custom dyed using low impact synthetic dyes. Low impact dyes have been classified by the Oko Tex 100 standard as eco-friendly. These dyes do not contain toxic chemicals. Motherease terry cotton has lasted our customers for years. We have several customers now on to their fourth baby with this cotton!
To complete the green ethics in the Mother-ease factory, we now have a true 100% organic fabric. The One Size™, Sandy’s™ and Toddle-ease™ nappies are now available in 100% organic cotton grown in the USA and woven in Canada. Bamboo is a much sought after fabric as it is soft and very absorbent, yet remains quite slim. Bamboo grows at up to 1 metre a day! so is naturally very sustainable. The bamboo goes through a ‘viscose’ process which turns it from a tough fibre to a very soft silky feeling fabric. This fabric has natural antibacterial properties which are retained even after washing. It has a layer of light weight one way fabric sewn to the inside of the diaper to provide a “Stay Dry Barrierâ€? between the nappy and your baby’s tender bottom. The “stay dryâ€? fabric is custom knit from 100% polyester to quickly wick moisture through the fabric and leave baby’s skin feeling dry. It also helps prevent staining and makes the nappies easier to rinse off. Shaped like the Mother-ease, ever popular and award winning One Size nappy, this Newborn nappy is designed for the first month or six weeks of babies life. It is made of soft white terry cotton toweling, the same top quality used in Mother-ease products, but this nappies difference is in its neat, slim, tiny newborn fit. Perfect immediately from birth as it even has a cut out for the umbilical area. The nappy adjusts around the waist and legs by the simple snap poppers in a single row along the width of the nappy, ensuring a perfect fit. We offer this nappy for sale and even for hire! We recommend 20 nappies and 4 extra small Rikki wraps to make them water and leak-proof. To hire a kit, we simply require a deposit. When you return the kit, washed and in good condition, we refund the deposit taking off the weekly rental of £8.00 per week. The good news is, that we won’t charge you for the hire until your baby is born, we know that baby’s don’t usually arrive on the day expected! Beware of Imitations! As Mother-ease nappies have been such a success in the UK, other nappy companies have tried to copy them! We should feel flattered by this, as clearly, these companies recognise the success and quality of Mother-ease’s One Size nappy. However, the production process of “copy” nappies results in a much worse carbon footprint. Mother-ease have a green powered energy efficient factory. As for the copy companies, they have their nappies made by non environmentally friendly factories in Eastern Europe or China (they won’t tell you that on the label!). The ethics here just don’t stack up. We often hear stories from our customers about the ‘copies’ not being long lasting and as much absorbent as Mother-ease nappies. So don’t accept imitations, go for the real thing!
• The waist and legs are elasticised ensuring a good fit and eliminating leakage. The secret of its leak proof fit is the soft leg binding whichgently seals any gaps at the legs and waist to ensure proper poopcontainment’ without any chaffing or nasty red marks. • An inner liner (available as an optional extra) can be attached and detached to and from the nappy with poppers. A neat compact sized nappy system. Made of the same soft knit terry as the Mother-ease One Size. Available in a choice of fabrics; Bamboo, Organic Cotton, new rainbow colours and white or natural cotton (just like the One Size). The choice is yours! Whichever fabric you choose the details are the same! Generally parents will only ever need to use two sizes of this nappy (small and large) the newborn is only required for real tinies. So please consider this Sandy’s nappy for the most part a two sized nappy system. This nappy will generally survive several children, and is perhaps a good choice for those at the beginning of starting the family and who plan more children. Also ideal for those turning to cloth nappies later in the child’s development, where you can perhaps skip a size and who want a neat slim fit. This makes it a great nappy for babies with a skinny waist and chubby thighs or vice versa. Great when starting potty training as they can be used as pants without the wrap. 4 layers of absorbent fabric make for a high performance nappy. It has a neat, precise fit with plastic poppers, three at each leg and two either side of the waist, un-popping for easy changes and durability. Softly elasticated at both the waist and legs, this nappy is very slim fitting and leak-proof, yet has a high absorbency rate and great capacity. An Aplix closing birth to potty nappy. Really does fit from newborn to toddlers! Available in white terry cotton only. Fastens with Aplix tabs, but adjusts to suit babies height by simple poppers. With its brilliant design, this nappy fits the baby from newborn until he or she is toilet trained (approximately 8 to 35lbs). As simple as putting on a disposable. An additional liner can be purchased if required to offer more absorbency for night time or heavier wetters. The separate loose liner with the nappy allows greater choice of positioning i.e. boys need greater absorbency towards the front and girls towards the middle. A newborn or ‘light’ wetter will not require the liner at all, expect perhaps at bedtime or when travelling. Use either the Rikki or Airflow Mother-ease wraps with this nappy.

Made with a soft terry cotton inner with an outer waterproof fabric (the same as our wraps) of brushed knit laminated polyester. Gently elasticated on the legs and waist. This nappy gives a comfy, stretch fit. The nappy closes on the sides with poppers just like the ‘Airflow’ wrap, three rows on the thigh and two on each side of the waist allowing for maximum growth before moving on to the next size. Available in white outer and cotton inner. We have personally found this nappy to be fantastic for the near toilet trained, especially for the night when they can be pulled up and down at high speed. If extra absorbency is required use the towelling liner. Can be washed up to 60ºC and tumble-dried.

INDUSTRIAL QUALITY
A straightforward 100% cotton nappy, simply folded and placed into a wrap. The prefold system is one of the cheapest washable nappy systems available, however it is a little more basic than a fitted nappy. The prefold system is the ideal budget system – extremely affordable, though a little more work is involved than with fitted nappies and not as absorbent or as leakproof. This, just means you may have to consider changing a little more often, and that the cover will need changing more frequently than with the fitted Mother-ease nappies. The prefold Nappies come in Three sizes Small for newborn – 3mths (30 x 40cm), Medium 3mths+ (36 x 55cm approx) and Large 12mths+ (42 x 58cm approx.
“Laundry Delivery” style nappies. The rectangular prefold is folded into three, a flushable/washable liner is placed across the pad and placed inside a wrap. No need for pins! It gives a slim fit of neat appearance. The Nappy is made up of three panels, the central panel (thicker than the wings) has eight layers of cotton, the wings having four. They wash well up to 90ºC. This is the system used by the laundry services throughout the world, simply because of the high temperatures it can be washed at. The Rikki wrap is the cover to use with this nappy, we would recommend that at least 6 covers in the correct size are purchased with 24 nappies for full time nappying. (Owing to the fact that the cover will need washing more frequently as the soiling will be greater with a prefold than with a fitted nappy.)

Luxury “Little Ewe” Organic Terry Squares Little Ewe soft and organic terry squares are the ultimate in luxury eco friendly terry nappies. The traditional terry square nappy is still a popular choice. Folded either into one of the traditional “kite” or “origami” shapes, or into a rectangle and placed inside a wrap, our terries offer extremely efficient absorbency and a luxury softness. Made of pure unbleached natural organic cotton, their creamy colour makes them look as good as they feel! Top quality, top absorbency. Apart from the standard size terry of 60x60cm, we also offer a 40x40cm square (perfect for folding into rectangles for absorbent pads) ideal for newborns (as they are less bulky) and great for burp cloths or even large flannels. Slim Stay Dry Liner
This double layered one way liner is made of the softest polyester, acting as a stay dry barrier between the skin and the nappy. It is non-absorbent, its purpose is to keep the baby’s skin dry and protected. It should be used as a final layer with any nappy instead of a flushable liner, simply shake soiling of the material into the toilet. This fabric does not allow poo to stick to easily making it perfect for the job! Perfect for sensitive skinned babies or overnight use. This does away for the need of a disposable liner. You give us your details, and every month on your chosen monthly delivery date, we deliver your next months supply of nappies or other products straight to your door. No more effort needed from you! However, if you find things change for you, i.e. you need to change size, quantity, add to the order with other Earthlets products, bring delivery forward or delay it, just simply call us and we shall oblige with immediate effect. There is no catch with this whatsoever, no commitment from you, no forward out lay and no responsibility. If you want to cancel, simply call and we stop the regular delivery. How simple is that!
