FSA Conference a Huge Success

FOOD SHIPPERS OF AMERICA'S 66TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE WAS HELD AT THE BEAUTIFUL JW MARRIOTT GRANDE LAKES & SPA IN ORLANDO, FL, FEBRUARY 20-22.

Following a year off due to the pandemic, it was great to get back together as a food shipper community. Our Co-Chairs Rob Lyall, Simmons Foods and Steve Wutke, Prime Inc. brought together an outstanding lineup which included the inspirational keynote from Tony Dungy, fantastic industry insight shared from our industry icons and driver panelists, and ‘food for thought’ from Peter Hinson and Duncan Wardle.

As a volunteer organization, FSA relies on the many volunteers who come together to help plan, set up, support, and then pack up once complete. Thank you for your tireless efforts that make our conference such an enjoyable experience for our attendees!

I would also like to thank all of our amazing sponsors. Your incredible generosity helps to make our annual conference a success year after year. This year, the FSA leadership welcomes two new board members, Clyde Coleman with Performance Food Group, and Chris Domey with Ocean Spray. The team is excited to have them on board and look forward to their contributions to the organization. As an organization, FSA upholds a high standard regarding code of conduct. Following the 2022 conference, we developed and posted our code of conduct on the FSA website. Reviewing the code of conduct will also be a requirement when registering for future conferences.

Lastly, FSA returns to Palm Desert in 2023. Following the record-breaking attendance in Orlando, the 2023 conference will be a hot ticket. Please be sure to keep your eyes open for the registration details which will be sent later this summer and into the fall.
