Jessie Fisher Heidi Jessie happily returns to Milwaukee Rep, having previously performed in Grounded. Broadway: Girl in Once, Delphini Diggory in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Jaye in A Beautiful Noise. Regional credits: Constellations, Of Mice and Men (Steppenwolf Theatre), Othello, The Heir Apparent, Taming of the Shrew (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), The Pride (About Face Theatre), 33 Variations (TimeLine Theatre), The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (Chicago Children’s Theatre) and plenty more. She is an award-winning composer (Barrymore award) and co-host of Erik and Jessie and Everyone You Know- a variety show. For the women who continue to raise me. Will Mobley Legionnaire/Danny Will is so pleased to return to Milwaukee Rep where he was previously seen in Much Ado About Nothing and Murder on the Orient Express. Maria (Rose) Campbell Debater Rose is thrilled to thrash out the Constitution in this production of What the Constitution Means to Me. As a junior at Whitefish Bay High School, she is a proud participant of the WFBHS theater department and the Mock Trial team. She is also a member of First Stage’s award-winning training program for high school actors, Young Company. You may have seen her in YC’s productions of The Laramie Project, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Gracious Sisters. Besides her passion for theater, Rose is also a huge nature-lover, Urban Ecology Center intern, Filipino Folk Dancer, and an aspiring bagpipe player. She thanks her family, friends, and YOU for the incredible support. Hazel Dye Debater Hazel is over the moon about making her Milwaukee Rep debut in such an important, thought-provoking play. She is a junior at Golda Meir High School and a member of First Stage’s award-winning Young Company, a training program for high school actors. Among her favorite credits are YC’s world premiere production of The Gracious Sisters, Spring Awakening (First Stage), and Fiddler on the Roof (Golda Meir). Hazel loves advocating through the Milwaukee Rep Teen Council and MPL Teen Advisory Board. In her free time, she enjoys thrifting, rereading favorite books, and capturing memories through collages and film photos. She urges you to stay curious, open-minded, and loving of those around you.


#WeRepMilwaukee Maya O’Day-Biddle Debater Maya is elated to return to Milwaukee Rep, where she started her theater career in 1st grade, in The Color Purple. Now a Junior at Whitnall High School, Maya has appeared in more than a dozen shows, including A Christmas Carol (twice) and August Wilson’s Fences at Milwaukee Rep, Annie and Hairspray at Skylight Music Theatre, and numerous shows with First Stage, most recently as Imogene in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Outside of performing, Maya is an Honor Roll Student and enjoys traveling, being with family and friends, and advocating for social justice issues that are important to her by volunteering. CREATIVE TEAM Heidi Schreck Playwright Heidi Schreck is a playwright, screenwriter and performer living in Brooklyn. Her most recent play What the Constitution Means to Me was named a Pulitzer Prize finalist and won the New York Drama Critics’ Circle Award for Best American Play. Schreck also received two Tony Award nominations for What the Constitution Means to Me for Best Play and Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play, the 2019 Smithsonian Magazine American Ingenuity Award, the Horton Foote Playwriting Award, the Hull-Warriner Award, and an OBIE. A filmed version of What the Constitution Means to Me, starring Schreck, premiered this past October exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, and was nominated for a Critics Choice Award, a PGA Award, and a DGA Award. Heidi’s other plays include Grand Concourse, Creature, Mr. Universe, and There Are No More Big Secrets. Her screenwriting credits include I Love Dick, Billions, and Nurse Jackie. Schreck has taught playwriting and screenwriting at NYU, Columbia, Kenyon College, and Primary Stages.

Noele’s lighting has appeared onstage at The Brooklyn Academy of Music, Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, The Library of Congress Theater, as well as the opera companies of Santa Fe, Ontario, Houston, Portland, Vancouver, New Orleans, Nashville and Madison. Regional design for the theatre includes Jeff Daniels Purple Rose Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage, Houston’s Alley Theatre, Wisconsin’s, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, American Players Theatre, Next Act Theatre and Forward Theater. As Lighting Director for Houston Grand Opera, she supervised the lighting and special effects for over 50 productions along with designing the lighting for such productions as Andrei Serban’s Elektra, Dr. Jonathan Miller’s Der Rosenkavelier, Aida, and the world premieres of Harvey Milk, Desert of Roses, and Dracula Diary. Annika is a recently minted Milwaukeean by way of Seattle and NYC. She is the current Associate Artistic Producer at Milwaukee Repertory Theater, overseeing the Literary Department. She has previously worked at Playwrights Horizons, Seattle Rep, and 5th Avenue Theatre. Jonathan Hetler Casting Director Jonathan is a producer, director, and teaching artist based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He currently serves as the Artistic Producer overseeing all casting and special events at Milwaukee Rep. Notable directing highlights include Dino! An Evening with Dean Martin (Milwaukee Rep), Romeo and Juliet, Venus in Fur, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, and Glengarry Glen Ross (Ohio University), Pippin (Ohio Valley Summer Theater), the World Premiere of La Mujer Barbuda (Seabury Quinn Jr. Playwrights’ Festival), and the Associate Director for Titanic the Musical

Other theater credits include: The Servant of Two Masters, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet (Great River Shakespeare Festival), Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse (First Stage), The Addams Family (Fulton Theatre), Complete Works…Abridged, Othello (Riverside Theater in the Park) and various shows at Walt Disney World. Mark Clements Artistic Director Mark is an award-winning international theater director whose work has appeared in over 100 major theaters throughout Europe and the United States. He began his tenure as Artistic Director with the 2010/11 Season by bringing musicals to the mainstage, starting a tradition that is now the highlight of every season. Mark has directed over 30 productions at Milwaukee Rep including World and American Premieres, his own adaptation of the current A Christmas Carol and all but one mainstage musical including Titanic the Musical, West Side Story and Dreamgirls. Prior to joining Milwaukee Rep, Mark served as an Associate Artistic Director for several UK theater companies, most notably, Artistic Director for the award-winning Derby Playhouse in the UK where he directed over 40 productions. He has been nominated for an Olivier Award and several UK Theatre Awards, and has won three Barrymore Awards in Philadelphia. He

Now in his eleventh season at Milwaukee Rep, under Chad’s guidance the theater has grown significantly from a $9M to $14M+ organization. He’s completed two capital campaigns to remodel the Stackner Cabaret, build the endowment, launch the John D. Lewis New Play Development Program, create a new A Christmas Carol and deepen the theater’s community engagement programs. He is currently stewarding the $78M campaign to build the new Associated Bank Theater Center. Previously he was the Associate Executive Director at Arena Stage in Washington, DC, where he was instrumental in opening the Mead Center for American Theater, a new 200,000 square feet performing arts complex. While at Arena, he worked on the Broadway transfers of Next to Normal (Pulitzer Prize; Tony Award), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Tony Award), and Wishful Drinking starring Carrie Fisher. Bauman is a graduate of Harvard Business School with a Master of Fine Arts in producing from the CalArts.
