Rebecca Cort Amy March Rebecca (she/her) is delighted to be making her Milwaukee Rep debut in this timeless dream role. Selected credits include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods (5th Avenue Theatre); Suzanne in The Hello Girls (Taproot Theatre Company); Brooke in Noises Off (Harlequin Productions); u/s Sally in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Village Theatre); and Citizen: An American Lyric (Sound Theatre Company: 2019 Outstanding Ensemble Gregory Award Winner). He is a Fulbright Scholar and graduated with a M.A. in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Chiké Johnson Mr. Laurence/ Robert March/Doctor Chiké Johnson most recently appeared in Northlight Theatre’s production of Birthday Candles. Chiké is a proud company member of Remy Bumppo Theatre Company and was part of their World Premiere production of Galileo’s Daughter. Colleen Madden Marmee March/ Aunt March Colleen is delighted to be back at Milwaukee Rep! Milwaukee ROCKS! Colleen’s last appearance here was in Black Pearl Sings, and before that Napoli Milionaria and The Mill on the Floss. Colleen is a Core Company Member at American Players Theatre in Spring Green. She has performed on regional stages such as Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Alliance Theatre, Virginia Stage Company, Two River Theater, and Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre, and others as well as NYC’s Irish Repertory Theatre. Colleen appeared on ABC’s All My Children, NBC’s Chicago PD and Chicago Fire, and you can see her in the streaming films Brutal Season and Aquarians.


#WeRepMilwaukee Cy Paolantonio Meg March, Movement Director Cy is filled with gratitude to be here! Originally a native of D.C. who now calls Seattle home, Cy treaded the boards, choreographed, and directed at The Kennedy Center, Arena Stage, The Smithsonian UdvarHazy, The Arad Fort in Bahrain, NYC WorkShop Theatre, 5th Avenue Theatre, Seattle Rep, Flint Rep (Wilde Award, Outstanding Choreography, Ragtime) and Carnival Cruise lines. As well as appearances on BET, VH1, commercials and music videos. Her claim to fame was that she toured as a go-go dancer for Steven Van Zandt’s record label, The Underground Garage. She thanks the entire company and those who make live arts possible! Katie Peabody Beth March Katie (she/they) is delighted to be here at Milwaukee Rep. Born and raised in Seattle, she now lives part-time in Los Angeles creating theater and film. Richard Nguyen Sloniker John Brooks/Parrot/ Mr. Dashwood Richard is thrilled to make his debut at Milwaukee Rep. He was recently seen as Alonso in The Tempest with Wooden O in Seattle. He has performed regionally at the Guthrie Theater, Merrimack Repertory Theatre and ACT. Favorite roles include Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice at Book-It Repertory Theatre; Black Beauty in Black Beauty at Seattle Children’s Theatre; and Hercule Poirot in Black Coffee at Taproot Theatre Company. Richard also performs in video games: Halo Infinite, Guild Wars 2, and most notably as the Guardian and Glint in Bungie Studio’s Destiny. He holds an M.F.A. from the University of Washington. Austin Winter Laurie Austin (they/them), is happy to be back at Milwaukee Rep. CREATIVE TEAM Kate Hamill Playwright Kate Hamill’s work includes Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson – Apt. 2B at Kansas City Rep/Portland Center Stage; Emma at Guthrie Theater/Denver Center; Dracula at Classic Stage Company/ Actors Theatre of Louisville; Little Women at Primary Stages/Jungle Theater; Pride and Prejudice at Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival/Primary Stages; and Mansfield Park at Northlight Theatre. Sense and Sensibility had its World Premiere Off-Broadway, produced by Bedlam. It was named one of the “Top Ten Plays of 2014” by both Ben Brantley of The New York Times and by The Huffington Post, which called it “the greatest stage adaptation of this novel in history.” It reopened in NYC in 2016 where it ran for 300 performances. She is published by DPS and TRW Plays. Marti Lyons Director Marti is thrilled to return to Milwaukee Repertory Theater where she directed the Co-World Premiere of Wife of a Salesman by Eleanor Burgess. Marti recently directed Galileo’s Daughter by Jessica Dickey at Remy Bumppo Theatre Company. Collette Pollard Scenic Designer Collette is thrilled to return to Milwaukee Rep where she recently designed What the Constitution Means to Me, Steel Magnolias, Eclipsed and The Chinese Lady. Collette lives in Chicago and designs scenery locally, regionally, and internationally. Recent national credits: Fannie: The Music and Life of Fannie Lou Hamer (Goodman Theatre, Seattle Rep and Indiana Rep). Paul Adolphsen Dramaturg Paul (he/him) is a dramaturg originally from Seattle. Prior to joining Seattle Rep, Paul worked at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Asolo Repertory Theatre. As a dramaturg, Paul has worked with Arena Stage, Hartford Stage, Ashland New Plays Festival, among other theaters. He was a founding producer of the UMass New Play Lab and served as a Fulbright Fellow at the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa. Paul’s writing has been published in Theatre Journal, howlround.com and by Penumbra Theatre Company. He holds an M.F.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Aaron M. Davis Norman Music Director Aaron is a performer, music director, composer/arranger, and educator originally from Compton, California. With a background in vocal performance, vocal health/technique, and music composition, Aaron has been blessed to worked with incredible musicians across Europe, Canada, and the United States in many different genres of music. Mark Clements Artistic Director

Chad Bauman Executive Director

Mark is an award-winning international theater director whose work has appeared in over 100 major theaters throughout Europe and the United States. He began his tenure as Artistic Director with the 2010/11 Season by bringing musicals to the mainstage, starting a tradition that is now the highlight of every season. Mark has directed over 30 productions at Milwaukee Rep including World and American Premieres, his own adaptation of the current A Christmas Carol and all but one mainstage musical including Titanic the Musical, West Side Story and Dreamgirls. Prior to joining Milwaukee Rep, Mark served as an Associate Artistic Director for several UK theater companies, most notably, Artistic Director for the award-winning Derby Playhouse in the UK where he directed over 40 productions. He has been nominated for an Olivier Award and several UK Theatre Awards, and has won three Barrymore Awards in Philadelphia. He created and directed the West End and UK National Tour of Soul Train. Mark is currently working with Ayad Akhtar on adapting his critically acclaimed novel American Dervish for the stage to make its World Premiere in an upcoming season.

Now in his eleventh season at Milwaukee Rep, under Chad’s guidance the theater has grown significantly from a $9M to $14M+ organization. He’s completed two capital campaigns to remodel the Stackner Cabaret, build the endowment, launch the John D. Lewis New Play Development Program, create a new A Christmas Carol and deepen the theater’s community engagement programs. He is currently stewarding the $78M campaign to build the new Associated Bank Theater Center. Previously he was the Associate Executive Director at Arena Stage in Washington, DC, where he was instrumental in opening the Mead Center for American Theater, a new 200,000 square feet performing arts complex. While at Arena, he worked on the Broadway transfers of Next to Normal (Pulitzer Prize; Tony Award), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Tony Award), and Wishful Drinking starring Carrie Fisher. Bauman is a graduate of Harvard Business School with a Master of Fine Arts in producing from the CalArts.
