Heidi Darrow founded Denim Bar Mke, in Milwaukee’s Historical Third Ward, as her newest adventure in fashion two years ago, prompted by the success of her then online store, Stella’s Trunk. She has found a niche in the heart of Milwaukee that fills a need for great jeans of many well known, and some specialty denim brands. The Denim Bar Mke team of denim fitting experts specializes in fitting body types of all styles, washes, sizes, and fashion trends. The denim bar carries over a thousand pairs of jeans and more than twenty brands, from all over the world, paired with dressy casual designer labels of downtown chic clothing for both gals & guys. The fitting team really focuses on finding the right fit, and enjoys the challenge of finding extended sizes and filling personal orders to accommodate our customers. In addition, Denim Bar Mke carries casual fashion lines to wear with jeans, brands like Free People, BCBG, My Tribe, Vintage Havana casual ladies clothing Buffalo, Coogi, John Lennon, and other men’s shirts and jackets. Denim Bar Mke also offers private fitting and shopping parties! Heidi says, “We love to cater to private groups, companies, office parties, etc. We offer group or party discounts, and provide an entertaining shopping experience for our guests. Heidi also has four teenagers, and is very involved in the local community through their endeavors.
