Tobin Cowley has been teaching CPR, AED and first aid for over 21 years through his business Save-A-Heart of Utah. He is a licensed paramedic, and EMT. He currently provides BLS and ALS certification services to almost 200 dental offices throughout the state, as well as the U of U School of Nursing, Medical School, and businesses throughout the state of Utah. Gary Crawford, DDS is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He received his DDS from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Jack Ferracane, PhD is professor and chair of Restorative Dentistry, and Division Director of Biomaterials and Biomechanics at Oregon Health & Science University, Portland, Oregon. Leslie Halpern, DDS, MD, PhD received her PhD in Neuroendocrinology at City University of NY, a DDS at NYU College of Dentistry, and completed a 6-year Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Program with an MD degree from NY Medical College. She has done several fellowships in basic and applied research and obtained an MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health. Jone Kim, DDS, MS did his undergraduate study at UCLA and received his D.D.S. from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1994. He also received Master of Science in oral biology from UCLA graduate school and completed his oral & maxillofacial surgery training from University Medical Center Fresno, UCLA in 1998. Dr. Kim then went on to do a fellowship in orthognathic and facial reconstructive surgery at The Center for Corrective Jaw Surgery in Santa Barbara, California. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Utah and graduated from dental school at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2007. Pollard, MD is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist currently practicing as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Utah. Robert Simpson, MD is a physician who specializes in addiction medicine. He is the medical director of the Utah Professionals Health Program (UPHP).
