6th Annual Satellite Schools Concert Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. 92nd Street Y Kaufmann Concert Hall YPC’s Satellite Program provides children in nine New York City schools with a choral music education program provided by YPC-trained choral conductors. The children learn to read and write music, develop healthy vocal skills and sing in unison and in two- and three-part harmonies. The high point of the school year is the annual Satellite Schools concert at the 92nd Street Y; a free concert open to their families, friends and the general public.
