IhavemanygoalstohelpbetterourDistrictthisyear,startingwithourDistrictBoard.Alreadythis year,I’veimplementedanaccountabilitysystemtohelpourDistrictBoardmembersstaydedicatedto theirwork.I’vealsocreatedafewnewresourcestohelpD-Boardmemberscompletetheirtaskson timetobetterserveyou.Movingforward,IhavemanyideasofhowtobetterFallRallyandSLCasthey areourbiggesteventsoftheserviceyear.Ican’twaittobeginplanningwithoureventco-chairsto makethisyear’sDistricteventsmorememorable.Mybiggestgoalforthisyearistoincreasethe numberofactiveclubsintheMichiganDistrict;withthehelpofourfantasticLieutenantGovernors onboardthisyear,Iknowwecanaccomplishthis!

Everyyear,ourDistricthasaprojectthatguidesthethemeofservicefortheyear,andthereisusually acompetitioninvolvedtoo.IamcurrentlyintheprocessofreworkingmyGovernor’sprojecttobe somethingmorepertinenttoMichiganasawhole.InformationontheGovernor’sprojectandhow youcangetinvolvediscomingsoon!

Hi Mighty Michigan Key Clubbers! My name is Isabella Buccilli, and I am your district secretary this service year. I have been in Key Club since my freshman year of high school, and this will be my second term on the District Board. When I'm not doing service events with my home club or doing secretary work, I enjoy swimming and SCUBA diving, listening to music, and baking. I can't wait to work with you all this year. Go MIDKCI! I plan to send out the first edition of the District Directory in the LTG's July newsletters, which come out on July 15.

Hey Mighty MI Key Clubbers! My name is Aswathy Abraham and I serve as your District Treasurer for the 2023-2024 Key Club service year. I am currently a junior at International Academy East and hope to continue my service efforts through not only my school community but through District as well. I can’t wait to serve you all and hope to make this the greatest service year yet! My goals include increasing our membership dues, creating monthly lists with new fundraising ideas for clubs, and encouraging more club treasurers to submit their treasurer report forms.

Hey Michigan District! My name is Ema Sulstarova and I have the honor of serving as your District Bulletin Editor for this 2023-2024 service year. In my free time I enjoy traveling, dancing, singing, and playing the piano. I also enjoy teaching dance and the Albanian language at Balkan American Community Center. My goals this service year are to inform and provide insightful information through various media outlets, and help promote and gain engagement in our districtwide events of SLC and Fall Rally. I also want the Wolverine Key to be an easily accessible tool for both information and showing off clubs successes!

My name is Hussain Makki and I go to Dearborn High School. I am the first District Webmaster for KCI's Michigan District. I am a member of the Wrestling team, Student Council, Key Club and Amity, which me and my friends founded as a Charity to provide support in the Middle East and have raised over 10,000 dollars in the past 6 months! My largest goal in my term as District Webmaster, other than revitalizing our outdated website, is to create an app for members of the district board that will simplify communication with the board through features like updates and an assignment tracker, making our board more efficient.

I'm elated to work with you all as the Lieutenant Governor of Division 2 for the 2023/2024 service year. A little bit about me: I love running track, contortion, coding and reading sci fi novels. I enjoy traveling and seeing how different people live. Some of my goals for this service year are to get in contact with district administrators, collect updated club contact information, try to visit one club, host an OTC for club officers, and create a chat where club officers can connect with officers from other schools with the same position!

I play percussion in our concert band and I am my school's color guard captain this year, and I am an avid photographer and old book collector. I’m Guneev Gill and I will be serving as one of the two Events Co-Chair’s for the 23-24 service year! I am a rising senior at St Joseph High School, where I also serve as Webmaster for my home club. A little about myself; I love spending time with my friends & family, running, playing beach volleyball, reading Colleen Hoover, napping and everything fallespecially Pumpkin Spice Lattes. If I'm not doing any of those, I am probably snuggled up on the couch watching Grey's Anatomy for the 4th time through. My goals for the service year include increasing attendance at both Fall Rally and SLC by 20%. In addition to an increase in attendees, I hope to help Michigan Key Clubbers grow their love for service through many workshops and to bring even more excitement to the years events!

The Saline High School chapter of Key Club International is dedicated to fostering positive change and making a lasting impact in both local and international communities. Through acts of service and innovative fundraising initiatives, we strive to enhance the lives of individuals and promote their overall well-being.

Over 2,000 Hours of Community Service last year!

UNICEF Trick or Treat: Collect funds to help provide essential resources like clean water, education, healthcare, and nutrition to children in need worldwide.

PB&J in Detroit: Sort, package, and distribute food to underserved communities with limited access to nutritious meals.

Miracle Minutes for Breast Cancer: Collect funds during lunch to provide support and resources to those affected by Breast Cancer

Food Gatherer's: Deliver, sort, and redistribute food across 170 community partners with the Food Gatherer's organization for hunger relief in the County.

Give365: Help restore and maintain local parks in Saline/Ann Arbor with the Parks and Recreation Volunteer and Outreach Program.

House by the Side of the Road: Sort clothing and items that are donated to children and adults in need.
