It has Italian-style buildings that house a museum and shops with pieces made in Venice and Murano. Outside there is a beautiful garden that surrounds a canal like a pond. The garden has a large amount of glass sculptures, as well as a cafeteria with an open terrace at one end where live performances of Italian ballads are performed. The Museum houses a collection of more than 100 pieces of Venetian glassware. It shows modern and classic works in all forms, including vases, glasses, lamps and sculptures. The stained-glass windows of the Cathedral of Canterbury, formerly believed to be the work of Victorian restorers, date back to the late 12th century, becoming the first known works of art to represent pilgrims traveling to Canterbury. Researchers have just made the exciting discovery at the start of a detailed study of the world-renowned Miracle Windows in the Chapel of the Trinity. An analysis of the panels, currently removed from the window and in the stained glass conservation center for their study, showed that they date from the 1180s, 20 years after the death of Thomas Becket and 200 years before Chaucer wrote The Canterbury Tales.
