The MILE

The newly opened MILE (Midlothian Innovative Learning Experience) is a state-ofthe-art educational facility that provides flexible learning environments that reflect current industry and workplace environments in five career and technical education pathways: culinary arts, cybersecurity, aerospace engineering, civil engineering and entrepreneurship.

Programs at this campus give students opportunities to explore career paths. They utilize industry standard equipment and experience real-life professional practices. Classes and coursework at the MILE are provided by highly qualified, passionate teaching staff. Learning is enhanced by regular mentoring and curriculum support from professionals in the correlating industries.

Learning spaces at The MILE replicate the real world and compliment each student’s learning experience provided at their home campus, Midlothian High School or Midlothian Heritage High School.

A multi-institution system, the Midlothian Campus is home to three higher education institutions: Navarro College, Tarleton State University and Texas A&M University-Commerce.
