George W. Bush Childhood Home 1412 W. Ohio (432) 685‐1112 www.BushChildhoodHome.org Opened on April 11, 2006, the home has been restored to the early 1950s and reflects the lives of the young family through exhibits and furnishings. Nowhere outside the United States have so many prominent political fig‐ ures lived in one home – two presidents, two governors, first lady, ambassador and a CIA director. The self‐guided George W. Bush Auto Tour includes visits to the former residences of both the 41st and 43rd presidents of the United States. When to Visit: At your leisure. The museum houses 40,000 square feet of hands‐ on permanent exhibits that detail the story of World War II airpower, an exhibit that also features 13‐18 aircraft. The museum’s nose art gallery features 33 original panels officially designated by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as an official project of Save America’s Treasures.
