Power Management Software EIZO EcoView NET software allows your business to reduce its electric bills while minimizing its burden on the environment. EcoView NET provides centralized control over the power settings of monitors on a network. For EIZO monitors that support DDC/CI (listed below), you can adjust the brightness, turn the Auto EcoView function on and off, and set the off timer. You can also use this software to switch a monitor’s power on and off regardless of the manufacturer. EcoView NET summarizes and displays how much power is saved for each monitor as a result of using it over a specified period of time. It is compatible with Windows 7, Vista, and XP, and is available free of charge. Power save command Network Central PC

You can switch between modes simply by pressing a button on the monitor’s front bezel. Several monitors now include EyeCare and Paper modes which help reduce eye fatigue. EyeCare mode lowers brightness to just 3 cd/m 2 and is ideal for very dim ambient lighting environments such as a CAD studio. (Paper mode is explained below.)

Paper Mode Simulates Printed Paper With corporate and home users spending more time viewing documents and ebooks on their monitors rather than in printed form, several models now include a Paper mode to help reduce eyestrain. Paper mode simulates the look of printed paper by raising the black level and lowering the contrast ratio. Paper mode also maintains a gamma level of 2.2 so there is no degradation of grayscale tones.
