“I dreamt of a Lundby doll’s house” Now designer Hanna Wendelbo-Hansson’s wallpapers for Sandberg Wallpaper are available with Lundby. So fun! Hanna, what is it like to see Sandberg’s wallpapers in doll’s house format? “It’s so cool! Sometimes we work with simple little models in which the walls are decorated with wallpaper that has been scaled down, just to get to feel what the experience will be like in a room, so this is a similar experiment.” Biggest challenge? “Finding the scale and relationship between the doll and the room, or the person and the room!”
What is the best thing about playing with doll’s houses? “In a doll’s house, you get to let your interior design dreams flourish and make sets and little worlds for your fictional characters; there are no limits at all!” What kind of wallpaper looks best in a doll’s house? “Really heavily patterned designs look best in small format. It can be fun to truly distinguish the various rooms with different patterns.” Which colours? “Everything that inspires fantasy and play!” What should you consider when wallpapering?
“There’s not a lot to think about! With such small areas, you can easily try out a lot of different varieties. Have fun! Play!” Should you wallpaper EVERY room in the doll’s house? “Sure, why not? It's not exactly like they have wet room regulations.” What does NOT work in a doll’s house? “I can’t really think of much. In my old doll’s house, which is with my mom and dad, dolls and dinosaurs lived together with absolutely endless quantities of baked goods that were patched together from clay.” Aha, so you had one as a child? “Yes, a really beautiful homemade doll’s house, but my greatest dream was to have one from Lundby, like the neighbour girl had...” lundby living 11

“We use the pool just as long as we can,” says Stella. “But in the colder months, we can spend hours in our bathroom! It’s so cosy, especially since we realised that decorating with plants makes an enormous difference. It’s lush and wonderfully pleasant. And the trees thrive in the moist climate. It’s like a pure rainforest!”
