AUTUMN LOOKBOOK COLLECTION TWENTY.FOURTEEN ORANGE is a quarterly online fashion look book magazine birthed and raised in the Australian capital by MicheyLang Designs. Fundamentally about fashion and styling, this small online magazine also aims to showcase the capitals beautiful scenery along with its talented youth.
my story to you Stepping into the shower after a long day, I thought about this last image, to the right. How did everyone come to love and praise this photograph so much whilst I simply spotted all the faults? It wasn’t near perfect… that was my problem. I tend to find myself critiquing my own work harsher than others, aiming for perfection and nothing less. At times, this petty trait could be seen as a blessing in disguise and it is, but along with the high standards comes a lot of mental and physical exhaustion. So I sit here, upon my bed, on the evening of the photo shoot, aching in every possible way. And it’s crazy, you wouldn’t think modeling takes much effort, but holding a position a few inches off the ground, in heels, is a dam workout in itself. I think a bedtime movie and some daily YouTube vlogs will help me settle into a well-deserved nights rest. Or maybe a nice boost chocolate bar because I’m feeling a little naughty and some Pringles too.
