We bring to the table 19 years of experience, not only in photography, but also national advertising, professional retouching and design. We begin with sharp, professionally lit and properly exposed photographs from the beginning. If your portraits aren’t amazing straight out of the camera, they won’t be amazing with a lot of post processing. Getting Ready for
your special day Between choosing the exact shade of roses and tasting everything from cake to hordorerves, you’ve got your hands full! Meeting caterers, florists, and musicians is tough enough, never mind negotiating the photographer scene. I strive to make your experience as stress free and memorable as is could possibly be. I begin by going over the time frame you are thinking about, and together we decide which package is the best fit for you. On the day of the wedding one of the most important things to having your wedding portrait experience be as stress free as possible is to be sure everyone that is to be in the photographs is READY at the agreed photography time. I usually tell brides to tell everyone to be there 30 minutes before the actual scheduled time. If you are having your hair/makeup done professionally, the day of the wedding, allow an extra half hour or so above and beyond what your stylist/makeup artist actually tell you. One of the biggest dilemmas that our couple face is when to take the formal photographs. Ideally, all formals would be completed prior to the wedding, allowing the couple to proceed directly to the reception. One way to reduce the amount of time the waiting guests need to endure is to do both sides of the wedding party separately prior to the ceremony and then the combined group following the service. Typically, I start with the groom and his groomsman, followed by groom and parents and groom and family. This allows the bride a few moments more to get ready. Then after the groom has hidden himself away, we will shoot the bride and bridal party with bride and parents and bride and family. Then following the ceremony all we need to do is entire wedding party, bride and groom, and family shots. One thing I try to do for my clients is to arrange a place for the groom to see the bride for the first time if they are doing all of the photography before the wedding. Many brides choose to empty out the venue - or just have the bridal party and immediate family - and have the bride walk down the isle to meet her groom just as she will do during the ceremony. This is a more intimate moment for the bride and groom as they get to see each other for the first time without the stress of everyone watching.

If you choose to have your photographs done after the ceremony please have checked with your ceremony venue to be certain they don’t mind staying open later. It will take at least 30-45 minutes for a small wedding party, for example a wedding party of 3 groomsmen and 3 bridesmaids. We try to take all photographs that do not include the bride and groom together before the ceremony, greatly reducing the time spent on formal photographs between the ceremony and the reception and allowing you to spend more time with your guest and enjoy your special day. Regardless of when you choose to have your portraits taken, you will need full cooperation of your wedding party. Make sure that everyone knows when the photographs will be taken and that are completely ready. Once the
photography has started we would like to ask that everyone involved stay in the venue until released. A great deal of time is wasted searching for people who are needing for photographs. “What about the type of photography you see in the magazines?” These are bridal photos. If you choose a package that includes a bridal shoot this will greatly reduce the stress the day of the wedding in addition to giving you many more and creative photographs. We try to have these done a month or so before the wedding and many brides choose to have a framed canvas displayed at the wedding reception. Candids are by far my favorite part of wedding photography. I love capturing a moment that you may not have even realized I was watching. I tend to hang back, watch, and wait.

bridal portrait session is the perfect way to have a ‘dress rehearsal’ of everything you’ve planned for your wedding day. The wedding gown, flowers, hair, make-up, and all the other little things you’ve worked so hard to plan for, can be ‘tested’ together to make sure that there are no surprises on that special day. A perfect opportunity to take great images that you will cherish forever. Bridal Portraits are popular for displaying at the wedding registry table, at the reception sign-in table, custom sign-in books or you can turn one into a signature print for everyone to ‘leave their mark’ at the reception. When your wedding guests walk into your reception facility, and they view your finished bridal portrait for the first time, I want you to hear your guests gasp in delight, see their eyes open wide, and watch their jaws hit the floor. I want the bridal portrait I create of you to put a smile on your face, and a tear in your mother’s eye. Bridal portraits are generally taken two to three months before the wedding, so that there is time to have a completed portrait on display at your reception. However, it’s never too late to have your bridal portrait made; formal sittings involving both the bride and the groom are common up to several months following your wedding.

White design storybook wedding albums are designed entirely by me based your style and the style of your wedding. Images are not sent off to be designed for you by somebody who wasn’t at your wedding and who doesn’t know the story of your day. You can relive your special day for years to come from getting dressed until you and your groom drive away to begin your new life together. I generally recommend people come into the studio to see the coffee table books in the flesh as they really do have to be seen for you to fully appreciate their high level of quality. There are a lot of wedding book manufacturers out there but not all of them are equal, some provide very poor quality products which you can’t discern just from looking at pictures on the web. Each picture that goes in the wedding album is retouched and then enhanced for maximum effect. With over seventeen years of professional design experience, I will design a contemporary album that really
