The Marie Keating Foundation Give Your Bra For Cancer Appeal Michele O’Briain October/November 2014

Ronan and The Marie Keating Foundation urge you to donate all your unwanted bras of all shapes, styles, sizes or colours.

The Marie Keating Foundation is urging you to donate your old unwanted bras of all shapes, styles, sizes or colours no matter what their condition. Roche Pharmaceuticals will pay â‚Ź1 to the Foundation for every bra donated so please visit one of the local outlets below this week to drop your unwanted bras in to the Bra Box provided. Unfortunately about 2750 women this year will be told they are suffering from breast cancer and as you read this today I know that there are at least three mothers in the locality battling the disease. The Marie Keating Foundation is dedicated to working to beat cancer through awareness, education and support services. These include three mobile information units, the distribution of cancer information leaflets and financial funding if someone is struggling financially as a result of a cancer diagnosis. The Foundation does not receive any Government funding and all of their services are provided free of charge. Without the support of volunteers and fundraising such as the Give your Bra for Cancer campaign, they simply could not continue to provide these vital services and make the Keating family promise of providing all women and their families with vital information which could help them to prevent cancer or detect it at its earliest stages. I therefore urge you to support this great campaign by visiting one of the outlets below and dropping your old unwanted bras in to the Bra Box provided.
