Five revolutions and counting - the good news story of books in the 20th century
Having had a successful programme in 2022, WORDS continues in 2023 on Thursday, March 9th with a talk from Stephen Page, chief executive officer of Faber and Faber, one of the world’s independent publishing houses.
Stephen was born and raised in Bromsgrove and his talk will be an eyewitness account of what has happened to the book industry during the last 20 years and how it has thrived and confounded the expectations of its destruction in the face of digital transformation.
