What is your colour personality?
Having been a holistic colour practitioner and teacher for more than 30 years, colour is very close to my heart. When we really understand our own colours, it can show us how we interact with friends, family, colleagues and new acquaintances.

Colour is a vibration and reflects how we feel and see ourselves. This is done by the colours we wear and eat and the way we talk: I am feeling blue, I am in the pink, I am green with envy, I feel as good as gold.
We even change colour when we are feeling different emotions. When we are sea-sick we turn green, when we are frightened we are as white as a sheet and when we are embarrassed we turn red or pink. When we are hot our faces turn as red as a lobster so as you can see we actually reflect our colours.
Let’s look at colour personalities:
A person who reflects the red personality is someone like a race car who enjoys action. In the working environment, they want people to be brief and be gone. A red personality is quick thinking and extrovert.
Yellow personalities are those wonderful people who remember your birthday, anniversary and everything about you. They are friendly, outgoing and fun to be with. In the workplace it can be difficult to keep a yellow personality on track because they have so many ideas they want to share and can get easily distracted. A yellow personality is extrovert and they feel their way into a situation rather than the thinking aspect that a red personality projects.
The green personality is rather like a station wagon that is steady, reliable and comfortable. A green person is loyal, caring and takes their time making decisions. As with yellows, they come from the feeling aspect but are in the introverted side of the circle. In the workplace, they are the ones who get things done in a quiet way that is methodical and they are the people making sure everyone else is okay.
The blue personality is like the saloon car - comfortable and happy in their own space. Often blue personalities are accountants dealing with the financial side of the business. They are introverts and thinkers and like to be given the details and be allowed to digest them before giving their opinion. With a blue personality, tell them what you want them to make a decision about then leave them alone and go back later.
This is just a brief overview of four colour personalities but there are more. For more details about my introductory courses to colour visit
