Michael Nee
Professional experience as a counselor began prior to attending graduate school. My graduate thesis examined the influence of philosophical movements on the discipline of psychology and psychiatry, shaping the science it is today. With over 15 years experience as a therapist, I’ve served on boards of academic and clinical organizations, taught undergraduate and graduate psychology classes (including practicum), and I am a lifetime member of the California Association of Marriage Family Therapists (CAMFT). My therapeutic style is pragmatic, collaborative, compassionate. I am invested in what improves the lives of the individuals and couples. No two individuals or couples are the same. My aim is for clients to experience immediate gratification tethered to long-term, sustainable satisfaction. In my spare time I enjoy weight training, bike riding, swimming, as well as yoga / meditation.
