Miami Country Day School is governed by an elected Board of Trustees who serve as the guardian of Miami Country Day’s Mission. It is the responsibility of the Board of Trustees to work with the Head of School to ensure that the Mission is relevant and vital to our school community and to monitor the success of the school in fulfilling its Mission.

Angela Julien
Julie and her husband, Tom, are parents of Blaise, 11th grade. Julie is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and worked as a prosecutor in her professional career. Julie and Tom are the Founding Deans of the 7500 Club, which was created in honor of the School’s 75th Anniversary year. She has served as a Board of Advisor member since the inaugural group formed in 2011-12 and has served on the Parents’ Association Board and the Campus Beautification Committee. Julie currently serves on the Development Committee, Building and Grounds Committee and the Financial Sustainability Committee. Julie and Tom are generous supporters of Annual Giving and the Campaign for the Arts.
Angela and her husband, Daniel, have been Miami Country Day School parents since 2007. Their daughter, Tara is in 9th grade. Angela serves on the Development Committee and has been instrumental in making connections between the Development Office, other parents, and the community. Last year the Juliens hosted our reception for new families at their home. Angela also gives time and support to the Breakthrough Miami program at MCDS. Angela and Daniel are generous supporters of Annual Giving and the Campaign for the Arts. Whitney Bloom
Whitney is the parent of daughter, Morgan D’Ablemont, 10th grade. Before relocating to Miami from New York, Whitney was the Owner/President of Whitney Bloom Design, LLC. Whitney has been actively involved in both the Annual Giving Committee and Campaign for the Arts committee and has hosted several school events at her home. As a Board member, she serves on the Development Committee and is the New Parent Chair for Annual Giving. Whitney is a leadership donor for both Annual Giving and the Campaign for the Arts.
