Presidential Perspective Mike Sonnek, Royal Golf Club Is it just me or does February always fly on by? At the start of the month, we are locked in the middle of a nice, steady, and thankfully average winter. By the end of February, we are coming out of our golf course superintendent hibernation and back to lying in bed at night and thinking about what we need to do on the golf course as soon as the snow and frost are gone. March also brings the onset of the “when do you think we’ll open?” questions. As I remind those posing the question, I don’t have any say in the matter. Mother Nature will let us know when she is ready for us to get back at it.
