Q: Am I allowed to bring my own food or drinks?
A: No outside food, beverages or coolers are allowed at the lagoon. Additionally, no outside liquor or alcohol is allowed at the lagoon. A personal sealed bottled water or empty reusable water bottle are permitted & can be filled at our water stations onsite. Infant formula and sealed baby food is also permitted. Food is available on site, along with catering packages that must be ordered in advance. If you are renting a group space and decide to add an outside catering fee, please be advised that there will be a per person fee and catering must be pre-approved by our leadership team.
Q: Do you allow groups to pay for their tickets separately?
A: Absolutely! In order to purchase tickets separately, select the location of the lagoon you wish to attend and navigate to “Book Your Day.” You may also purchase tickets on-site at our admissions building. Please be advised that availability is subject to change. Pre-purchasing tickets online is the best way to guarantee entrance to the lagoon. Your group sales specialist will help you navigate through the best options!
Q: Is re-entry into the park permitted?
A: Yes just be sure that you receive any wristbands / stamps needed at arrival so that our lagoon staff can identify you for re-entry.
Q: How long is my rental space available for?
A: Your rental space is available from park open to close on the date reserved. For specific dates and times of our park operating hours, please see our Hours and Events calendar on our website.
Q: Are decorations allowed for our rental space?
A: All decorations must be discussed with a group sales team member and approved by a MetroLagoons leadership team member before being allowed into the lagoon.
Q: Is live music/entertainment provided?
A: Groups cannot book live music/entertainment or DJ services for their event without prior notice. For these services to be provided, please speak with a member of our group sales team to make arrangements and discuss our venue options.
Q: Can I tour your lagoons before making a group reservation?
A: We would love to show you our tropical paradise! Tours may be arranged by a member of our group sales team or approved in advance by a MetroLagoons leadership team member.
GROUP SALES CATERING GUIDELINES
Thank you for considering MetroLagoons for your catering needs. We are pleased to offer a variety of menu options for your group or event. Below are the important guidelines to keep in mind while selecting our catering services:
1. PRICING: All menu prices are per person, providing transparency and clarity in your budget planning. All pricing is subject to change until the contract is signed and deposit received.
2. SERVICE CHARGE: Please note that a 22% service charge will be added to all food and beverage purchases. This charge covers service-related expenses to ensure a seamless catering experience.
3. TAXES AND BOOKING FEES: All applicable taxes and booking fees are not included in the menu prices and will be added to the final bill.
4. TIMELINE FOR SELECTIONS: To ensure we can adequately prepare for your event, we kindly request that you provide us with your final menu selections and guest counts at least 14 days before the scheduled event date.
5. PORTION SIZES: All menu selections consist of individual portions, and they are not all-you-can-eat unless specified otherwise.
6. MIX & MATCH FEE: In the event of specific preferences leading to different selections within a category, a 15% mix & match fee will be applied to that category (i.e. Entrees, Cold Sides, Hot Sides, Desserts, Small Bites, etc.). For a fee-free experience, ensure the selection is consistent for all guests in that category. Exceptions to Mix & Match include Cold Sandwiches which may be pre-ordered in accordance with Timeline for Selections or a Hamburger & Hot Dog selection.
7. OUTSIDE CATERING: Any external catering will be subject to a per-person outside catering fee.
8. DIETARY NEEDS: If any of your guests have dietary requirements, please let us know in advance, and we will be more than happy to accommodate their needs.
9. OUTSIDE ALCOHOL: Please be aware that bringing in outside alcohol is strictly prohibited for compliance with local regulations and to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
10. DINING LOCATION: Pricing does not include dining location facilities and must be booked independently if desired for your group.
11. PLATE SHARING & SUBSTITUTIONS: Plate sharing, and substitutions are not permitted unless otherwise noted.
