Holly Madison readies for conjugal visits
Holly Madison seems to be going through with her engagement with party promoter (and father to her infant daughter, Rainbow), Pasquale Rotella. The reality star showed off her giant new engagement ring, which was designed by Rotella, on her blog and to People magazine. The 18-carat yellow diamond ring is surrounded by pink and yellow flowers made from diamonds. And, oh yeah — owls. “Because we love owls, there is a hidden owl engraved on the rose gold in between two of the flowers,” she says. Her rock is hopefully big enough that she’ll overlook the fact that she is marrying a man who will probably go to prison in the next year. Rotella faces more than 13 years in prison on bribery, embezzlement, conspiracy
and conflict of interest charges. The L.A. County district attorney says that Rotella, who owns a firm called Insomniac Events, used more than $2.5 million in funds from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to pay off city officials. Rotella would use the coliseum to host raves. Rotella is currently out on a $1.8 million bail and is due back in court July 29. So basically, Madison, who was previously engaged to the 80-something Hugh Hefner, likes to choose mates who she thinks she won’t have to be with for very long.
Sweetin separates from third husband Jodie Sweetin might not have the career of big TV and movie stars, but she has the love life of one. The former “Full House” star has separated from her third husband, musician Morty Coyle, after a little over a year of marriage. Just take a moment to let that sink in: Jodie is on
her third marriage, and she’s only 31. And it only gets sadder: Jodie wants full custody of their daughter, Beatrix, 2, as well as their car, a Toyota Avalon. Meanwhile, the Olsen twins are probably lighting giant cigars with burning $100 bills. The middle sisters always miss out.

‘Under the Dome’ a huge hit for CBS A lot of people tuned in to the premiere of the miniseries “Under the Dome” on Monday night. And I mean a lot a lot. CBS reported a whopping 13.1 million viewers for the first episode of the Stephen King adaptation. Entertainment Weekly says it’s the most-watched summer debut on any network since NBC’s “The Singing Bee” in 2007. Let’s see if it can keep up those numbers over its remaining run of 12 episodes. / CBS

A word to the wise: If Miley Cyrus is trying to get a hold of you, answer her texts. Otherwise she might publicly threaten you. On Tuesday, Miley tweeted at her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, “@billyraycyrus since you won’t reply to my texts I’m giving you an hour to tell the truth or ill tell it for you.” Attached to the tweet was a pic of Miley smiling for the camera with an unidentified older woman, according to Hollywood Life. Billy Ray is in the midst
of a divorce from Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus. Does Miley’s tweet have something to do with their split? We’ll never know, as it was quickly deleted and disavowed by Miley, who tweeted, “Wtf? My twitter was just actin all types of cray!” So there are three possibilities here. One, Miley was hacked. Two, she meant to send a DM.
