About Metior Metior is the student magazine of Murdoch University. Since the 1970s, Metior has built a legacy of innovative and dedicated journalism. Eager to build on this legacy, our team this year will endeavor to publish relevant and insightful news, reviews and commentaries concerning students as well as the national and global issues that surround us. Taking a new and iconic square format this year, Metior will hit the newsstands monthly during semester. And with content sections including creative writing, science, music and news, we have something for everyone. With an on campus community of 15,000 students plus an additional 3,000 staff members, advertising in Metior will guarantee exposure for your product or service to a diverse range of tertiary students from all walks of life. Every edition is digitized and available online, in addition to the 1,500 copies printed and available from campus newsstands each month.

Format
All artwork must be Windows PC compatible. PDF (preferred format for artwork) must be HI-RES. Please ensure all fonts are outlined or embedded. Illustrator CS4 (or older versions) saved in either AI or EPS formats with all fonts outlined and images embedded or supplied. Image: JPEG or TIFF files must be 300dpi. JPEG saved at maximum quality. Colour specifications: Please ensure all image and artwork files are converted to CMYK. Full Page: 205mm x 205 mm for advertisements with a bleed off the page. Please ensure no live text is placed within 5mm of the margins or it may be cropped out. Half Page: 100mm x 205mm – 10mm margins on all sides. Please do not put important text in this area because it may be cut off. If you want the advertisement to bleed off the page, please use 10mm bleeds.

A copy of the newspaper will be sent to you from Metior after printing.

All cancellations attract a $50.00 administration fee and must be made in writing to advertise@the-guild.com.au

A cancellation fee of 50% advertisement cost applies when cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to the material deadline; If cancellation is made after the material deadline, the advertiser is liable to 100% of the advertising spend.

Metior reserves the right to withhold publication of advertisements if they contain material deemed to be sexist, racist, homophobic or militaristic. Should any advertisement be refused, Metior will not be liable for costs incurred by the advertiser.

To be eligible for the multiple edition discounts, it must be for the same client (agencies cannot pool clients to reach this amount.)
