SSS in Cambodia - METHODIST SCHOOL OF CAMBODIA
Hello, I am Tepy.
I am 18 years old. I have been studying at the Methodist School of Cambodia (MSC) since kindergarten. And I will be graduating next year. My teachers think that I have been a hardworking and outstanding student since primary school.
I am born into a Christian family. My mother is a hair stylist at the market and my father is a tuk-tuk driver. Their incomes are irregular and insufficient to support the family.
We live together with my grandparents and other relatives in a small house in Phnom Penh. With 10 people living under one roof, it is very crowded and noisy. I do not have a conducive environment to study, so I do my homework in the early morning hours after midnight. Despite these challenges, I adopt a good and positive attitude. I try my best to keep up with my studies and to focus on doing well.
Over the years at MSC, I have grown in confidence and maturity. I appreciate the encouragement from my teachers and the financial support through SSS that allows me to focus on doing well for my studies without constantly worrying about my school fees.
I will be taking the National Examinations in November. And my goal is to obtain grade A and qualify for a scholarship to the university.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to God and my sponsors!
