There’s still time to participate in the 2024 Fostering Success Tax Credit!

YOU can help older foster youth achieve their goals by directing your tax dollars to a qualified foster child support organization (QFCSO). You receive a dollar for dollar state tax credit and The Methodist Home (an approved QFCSO) receives funds to provide support to foster youth who are aging out of the system. You will support programs such as:

◆Transitional living programs

◆Education programs

◆Employment training

◆Life skills training

To get started, and for detailed instructions, please visit: www.TheMethodistHome.org/donate

On July 1 the tax credit limits were removed for 2024. Pre-Approval requests can now be based on your anticipated 2024 state tax liability. You must be preapproved before making your gift. Request pre-approval through the GA Tax Center online application.

Once you receive pre-approval, you can make your gift. In order for you to claim the credit on your tax return, we must receive your 2024 tax credit gift by 12/31/24.
