A supreme achievement from Tamiya, done with all the elegance, sophistication and panache we have come to know and love from the company. From looking at the parts layout, it’s safe to later versions will be released, giving this fantastic model plenty of life after the initial release.

The big clear sprue carries the canopy parts, which can be fitted in either closed or opened positions, not both; the modeller must make this choice when building the fuselage. The clear sprue also provides navigation and formation lights, plus the instrument panel’s dial glasses in a single panel.

Seated and standing pilot figures are included and both are beautifully sculpted.

The photo-etched nickel-steel frets (x2) carry grilles, seat harnesses and other small, thin components.
