Breathing Bag Valves A BagTail Pop-off with a gas evacuator built in, for use in a modified Jackson-Reese set-up. The unit takes the exhaust gases from the operating room through a simple device, requiring no additional apparatus, fitting directly into the tail of the bag and the other port connected to the hospital suction system. This evacuator has a negative relief valve to prevent the suction from either collapsing the bag or affecting gas flows. For cleaning, gas sterilization is recommended. Suction tubing 1/4” diameter or larger should be used. Not to be used with explosive gases.

Closed Position
Opening Device
The device is now closed and locked. This is the proper position when the CASTrGARD is being used. This is also the correct position after the devices have been removed prior to transporting the machine or cart, or when storing devices not in use.
To open, face the CASTrGARD so that locking latch is visible. Place right thumb on locking tab and push in. With the left hand, hold the left half of the device and pull out away from right half. The device may now be removed from around the wheel. Repeat for each wheel.

Operation
To apply device, place the CASTrGARD in the open position around the wheel. Bring both halves of device together until locking tab locks into opposite side. Locking tab must be fully seated in locking tab opening with edges of device flush together.
Place CASTrGARD on all four wheels. The machine or cart will push cords and cables in front of the CASTrGARDS to prevent wheel obstructions.

The 2001 Fiberlight allows you to mix Standard and Fiber Optic blades avoiding handle compatibility issues.
Use your own standard handles with this blade. Save on the cost of a new one. The engineering in the 2001 FIBERLIGHT 速 Laryngoscope kept the bulb in the blade. By positioning the light in the bottom of the blade, flickering, corrosion and the possibility of a loose bulb entering the oral airway has been eliminated. Equally important, there is no longer a hot bulb in the oral cavity. Also, the bulb is easily accessible for checking or removal.
Light is located in the bottom of the blade.

The MacIntosh is the predominant choice of the curved blade types. During laryngoscopy, the tip or “beak” of the blade is compressed into the angle formed by the base of the tongue and the epiglottis (vallecula), indirectly raising the epiglottis.
The MacIntosh Extended Flange spatula of the blade has a smooth and gentle curve extending from the lock to the tip. In cross section, the construction resembles that of a Z flange, facilitating greater access during intubation.
Wisconsin/Wis Hipple
The Wisconsin Laryngoscope Blade offers a straight spatula and a flange that expands slightly toward the distal portion of the blade. This feature increases the visual field and reduces the possibility of trauma during intubation.

Visualization of the larynx is also facilitated in obese patients or those in halo traction. In the 45° position, all advantages of the Howland Lock are achieved. Grip-Lok 3300MEPI is a catheter stabilization device that is strong enough to lock epidural catheters securely in place, yet versatile enough for almost every patient. The Grip-Lok 3300MEPI provides a foam insert that prevents kinking of the catheter as it is being secured.
Grip-Lok 3303MCS-TA is a catheter stabilization device that is strong enough to lock catheters securely in place, yet versatile enough for almost every patient. The Grip-Lok CS provides a foam die-cut insert that matches the shape of the catheter hub for proper positioning and additional securement stability.

Open the top flap and peel off inner liner. Slide the Grip-Lok under catheter and fit in notch.
Pull and remove one side of the bottom release liner while holding Grip-Lok in position. Then pull and remove the other side of the bottom release liner.
Open the top flap and slide the Grip-Lok under catheter hub. Position the catheter hub down into the foam cut-out and press gently to the adhesive.
Pull and remove one side of the bottom release liner while holding Grip-Lok in position. Then pull and remove the other side of the bottom release liner.
Gently press catheter onto the Grip-Lok’s upper adhesive.
Secure the top flap over the catheter and apply gentle pressure to the fabric area over the catheter adhesive.
Pull and remove the inner release liner under the top flap to expose adhesive.
Secure the top strap over the catheter hub and press the adhesive in place. The top strap can be peeled back to inspect and adjust the catheter hub.
