The Joy of Sharing! I really admire the kindness of our students as they shared food and some goods to the less fortunate in our neighborhood during the Sembako distribution. The outreach activity helped them to realize the importance of sharing their blessing to others. The Buka Puasa is one of the most important events for our Muslim brothers and sisters. Ms. Hesti had a short talk about it and explained to us why they do fasting. She also shared the things they do during the Idul Fitri celebration.
The Independence Day or Merah Putih activity is a very significant occasion for Indonesians. Therefore, the activities during the celebration were all about Indonesian culture. Some students performed and showed their talents in singing Indonesian songs, a lot of kids joined in traditional games, some children watched a movie in Bahasa, there was also a poster making contest about love for country and there was even Krupuk eating contest! (-; Everyone enjoyed the celebration!
