Raising Funds to provide much-needed sporting opportunities to children and young people with disabilities.
WHO ARE
Menphys is a local charity for children and young people with disabilities from across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Menphys provides a range of specialist services to support children and young adults with additional needs and disabilities and their families. It has been supporting families across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland for over 50 years, striving to give young people equal choices, equal opportunities to allow them to live ordinary lives. Our ambition is for a future full of equal choices and opportunities for our children, young people and their families, empowering them to live as ordinary life as possible and aspiring for the extraordinary.

WHAT IS
"There just isn't enough Sport Provision out there for young people with disabilities like my son!" Children and young people with disabilities want more choices of activities that are suitable for them and that they feel confident they will enjoy. For some, this means more activities that are inclusive for disabled and non-disabled children. Others want activities that are just for children with similar impairments.
To be able to fund more sports provision for children and young people with disabilities Menphys needs to raise vital funds so we created The Menphys Sports Club and now we need YOU!!

WHAT IS
The Menphys Sports Club is a Business Club with a Sporting Twist... Members receive a minimum of 4 yearly events where they hear from personalities from the world of local, national, or international sport.
At each event, members receive a two course meal, photo with our guest(s), opportunities to walk away with signed merchandise whilst spending time getting to know others from the world of business, community, and sport.
All Menphys Sports Club members also receive priority booking and VIP upgrades to other Menphys events throughout the year. As well as discounts and upgrades from our sponsors and partners.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
Yearly membership to The Menphys Sports Club is £150+VAT per year, per member. Additional fundraising for Menphys by members is at their own discretion.

CREATE AFTER SCHOOL FOOTBALL AND BASKETBALL CLUBS These sessions run every Thursday & Friday with Leicester City Football Club & Leicester Riders. These clubs promote physical activity, social inclusion and have created new friendships and love for sport.
RUN SUMMER AND SCHOOL HOLIDAY CAMPS & CLUBS
School holiday provision for young people with disabilities is limited and with our members support we have been able to create activity clubs that take place during every school holiday.
PROVIDE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY GROUPS ACROSS THE COUNTY
Groups like our Mini Menphys groups run every weekday in leisure centres across the county. These parent and toddler sessions give children with disabilities the opportunity to play, make new friends and enjoy a safe environment that meets their needs.
