The Essential Low Back program is based on the two largest, most definitive studies utilizing yoga therapy for treatment of chronic low back pain (funded by the National Institutes of Health). What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda means “The Science of Life,” and is known as the sister science to yoga. It’s one of the oldest holistic healing systems based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between mind, body, and spirit. The main goal is to promote health through understanding we are all born with all the elements of nature: earth, fire, water, air, and space. Understanding how to balance these elements through nutrition, movement, and lifestyle, helps us learn self-care.

In this workshop: • Learn the basic principles of Ayurveda; take a mind and body quiz • Learn how to take care of yourself with a new perspective and understanding
