Creative learning for little art lovers
The creative learning team have been busy dreaming up all the ways to bring contemporary art and artists into the worlds of children and their families.
Whether it’s through school holiday programs, activities delivered to your door, or ongoing workshops during the term, we invite children to stretch their creative potential, explore their curiosity and learn from an incredible collection of WA artists.

Collectively known as art S tuff, it’s all about children having fun and making awesome stuff whilst meaningfully engaging a new generation in critical and creative thinking. As Creative Learning Producer Claire Krouzecky says, “We happily encourage and provide space for the children to be creative because nourishing artistic processes supports the capacity to create the great ideas and innovations of the future.” More creative learning and art exploration creates more problem-solving innovators and future leaders.
BEING ABLE TO SHARE MY ART PRACTICE AND MY PASSION FOR MAKING WITH YOUNG ARTISTS IN MELVILLE HAS BEEN A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE. IT HAS PROVIDED A GREAT PLATFORM FOR ME TO BRING MY ART OUTSIDE OF THE STUDIO AND GALLERY SETTING TO CONNECT WITH THE COMMUNITY AND IT IS AN EXPERIENCE THAT I WILL CHERISH FOREVER.
