Melville is working towards the creation of a new Cultural Heart

Planning continues on a new cultural precinct linking the civic building with Yagan Mia Wireless Hill.

Our plan is to construct exceptional learning and creative spaces for our residents and the people of Perth to come and enjoy, experience, and learn in. This project sits alongside the developing City Centre and Westfield Shopping Centre Expansion.

The Cultural Heart project aims to deliver a new centre that will build on connections with existing libraries, galleries, museums and performance sites across the City of Melville. It will feature an interactive and expanded library, gallery, museum, performance, development, and flexible creative spaces.
