“Vaccinate Yourself” Harley Deguzman’s CreativeRationale:

Pro vaccination is important to me because people are dying. I chose to use my agency and voice using a poster because it’s my best and easiest way to do things like this. I know there are others who see this issue from a different perspective than I do, but I wanted to create this to show people that they’re putting people’s lives at risk. Even though I am not physically protesting somewhere, my creation is a way for me to use my voice and that is important because I want to help people. I’m giving my opinion and that’s risky. When I think about voicing my ideas or using my agency for a social issue, the risk I am taking is voicing my opinion because there’s going to be lots of people telling me I’m wrong. To be civically responsible means a list of rules but for me personally, it means normal responsibility.
