The social movement is important to me because I have had this happen to me and saw it happen to all of my friends. My creation is a way for me to show what I know about the situation. The purpose of my work is to make people rethink the phrase ¨Kill all MEN. ” I hope they start to see things in a more logical way and not take the phrase to heart and be on our side.

When I think about voicing my ideas or using my agency for a social issue, the risk I am taking is shadowbanned or people taking against me and turning everything I said against me to make me seem like the ¨bad guy. ” Civic responsibility means I stand up for what I believe especially if no one else would and try to bring justice. During this unit, I have seen, read and researched various ways people protested, like art, music, speeches, and obviously protests. When different points of view are in conflict over an issue. This can cause many problems-- war, violence and cause countries to fall apart so that people unnecessarily lose their human rights. In my own words, the purpose of protests is to speak up for the people who either have been speaking for so long but no one ever listened or for the people who can't talk for themselves.
