Volunteering Opportunities

The following groups and organisations are looking for volunteers.

Melwood Conservation Group (MCG)

Melwood Conservation Group is seeking volunteers for working parties and also to join the management committee. Please see the article on page 17 for further details.

1st Melbourn Guides

This Guide unit is full and has a waiting list, so would welcome another adult leader. If you would like to know more, see the article on pages 5 -6.

Royston Day Centre, The Old Barn, Upper King Street, Royston

Royston Day Centre is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10.30am to 1.00pm and is looking for volunteers willing to help once a week, fortnight or month. See the article on page 14 for details.

Royston & District Community Transport (RDCT)

RDCT is looking for new volunteer drivers in your area. Please contact them if you have a day or more during the week to take people to appointments. You will be paid 50p per mile mileage allowance. Ukrainians in South Cambridgeshire

Ukrainian families living in South Cambridgeshire would benefit from support from the local community. Please see the article on page 3 for ways in which you can help. Note also the Ukrainian Refugee meetings which are held every Tuesday in Holy Trinity Church.
