Meldreth's Jubilee Street Party Sunday 5th June 2022
Plans are ongoing for a village street party to celebrate 70 years of Her Majesty The Queen's reign. The High Street will be closed between Bell Close and Maycroft on Sunday 5th June from late morning until early evening. A street closure licence is being applied for and residents will be contacted in due course. During May, it will be possible to reserve tables for a small charitable donation. You may bring your own food and drink to the street party and there will also be refreshments available for purchase. The British Queen will be open throughout the day. The Village Hall will also be a venue for teas, etc. If any clubs, street entertainers, etc. are interested in contributing their skills on the day then please contact me.
