Ignacy Jan Paderewski: Artist, Statesman, Humanitarian. This year is the 130th anniversary of Paderewski’s first visit to Chicago At the Chicago 1893 World’s Fair he was a virtuoso pianist under Chicago Orchestra conductor Theodore Thomas, and they became great friends Victoria Granacki will host a presentation on Paderewski’s life and work, along with answering questions at the end.
