Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park can help you honor important people, milestones, and life events with a broad selection of unique tribute opportunities. From library book tributes at the Wege Library, to tree and bench tributes in various locations throughout our beautiful, 158-acre main campus, we can support you in creating a tribute that is distinctive and memorable, as well as personalized for the person or event you are honoring. Celebrations of birthdays, anniversaries, and friendships, as well as remembrances of loved ones all have a special place here. Tribute donations of all kinds are reflected in Seasons on a quarterly basis. Tribute Donation: One way to honor or remember a special person, family, or life event, is to offer a donation to Meijer Gardens. A personal acknowledgment is sent to the family or individual being honored, without reference to the size of the gift. Tribute Library Book: Books educate and inspire. Work with our librarian to make a book selection which will contain a nameplate with the wording of your choice. Library bookplate: $250 Tribute Tree: Trees are natural, living tributes. Select from an extensive and diverse list of healthy trees. A bronze sign with your choice of wording will stand near your tribute tree. Meijer Gardens Main Campus: $2,500 Tribute Bench: Benches provide a place for rest and reflection. Choose your bench site from among a variety of locations such as The Richard & Helen DeVos Japanese Garden, the Lena Meijer Children’s Garden, or the Sculpture Park. A bronze plaque with your choice of wording will be affixed to your bench. Meijer Gardens Main Campus: $15,000 The Richard & Helen DeVos Japanese Garden: $20,000
There is no better event to truly feel the spirit of the season than Meijer Gardens’ signature holiday gala: Christmas Cabaret! Please note that this year the Cabaret is moving to Wednesday night.
