We have made investments in the future and we work with Europe’s most state-of-the-art automatic presses. That way we guarantee absolutely consistent thickness and compression. Regarding the production of flap discs, we also focus on sophisticated automated manufacture. You can depend on that.
Our curing ovens’ electronic control does not allow for temperature deviations. Consequentially, optimum curing/ hardening is ensured; variations in quality and safety standards of cut off or grinding wheels are excluded. The recording of firing curves enables that the manufacturing procedure is effectively monitored.

The PROMAXcc line was developed to satisfy the highest demands of users and specialist trade. Stock removal and lifetime are well above average. Due to the convenient handling, labour costs decrease significantly.
PREMIUMFLEX grinding wheels show a good performance at a very favourable price. They can be used for a multitude of materials, including steel, aluminium, high-grade steel, stone and cast.

Occupational health and safety DON’T use a machine without a wheel guard. With regard to occupational safety and operational convenience, Schleifscheibenfabrik Rottluff’s responsibility to the customer is taken very seriously. Our products are designed, manufactured and produced in accordance with the most stringent quality standards to provide a maximum of customer value at minimum risk. We are a member of both, the German Abrasive Association (VDS) and the Organisation for the Safety of Abrasives (oSa) and thus actively contribute to users’ health and safety. Applied standards: · Safety Requirements for Bonded Abrasives Products: EN12413:2007 · Safety Requirements for Coated Abrasives EN13236:2001 · Safety Requirements for Diamond Blades EN13743:2002
DON’T handle wheels roughly. DON’T use non-reinforced cut-off wheels on portable machines.
DON’T use wheels without proper ventilation or dust protection equipment. DON’T apply side pressure to cut-off wheels. You should not bend the wheel. DON’T stop the wheel by applying pressure to the periphery or face. Always switch the machine off and allow the wheel to stop revolving. DON’T allow the wheel to be trapped or pinched in the cut. DON’T apply excessive pressure onto the wheel so that the driving motor slows down. DON’T grind on the side of the cut-off wheels or depressed centre wheels below 4.0 mm thickness. DON’T drop or lower a portable machine by the cable or airline onto the floor. A wheel can be easily cracked, if it is put down hard, by the weight of the machine. This is a common cause of wheel breakage. DON’T grind with a depressed centre grinding wheel at an angle below 30 degrees to the workpiece. DON’T use a machine in a position where you do not have full control of the machine and you are not well balanced.
DON’T store wheels in a damp atmosphere or in extreme temperatures. DON’T mount a damaged wheel. DON’T EVER exceed the maximum operating speed marked on the wheel. DON’T force a wheel onto a machine spindle. DON’T use mounting flanges which are incorrect, damaged, dirty or burred. DON’T tighten the mounting nut or locking flange excessively. To do so can distort the flanges.
Clamping System
The use of flanges with unequal diameters is not allowed. Both flanges between which the bonded abrasive is fixed must have the same outer diameter and similar contact areas (according to EN 68, ASA 1788.1, and ANSI B.7.1). correct

Operating speeds Rottluff grinding wheels and discs are developed and tested for particular working speeds and grinding processes. Prior to the fixing of the grinding tool on the machine, it must be ensured that the machine’s nominal speed (as specified on nameplate) does not exceed the maximum operating speed indicated on the grinding wheel or disc. Diamond cutting tools
There are different methods for joining segments to the high-quality steel core. Sintered blades Cutting edge covers (segments, turbo, continuous rim) are directly sintered to the steel core; the cover is bonded to the core through heat and permanent pressure.
Laser blades Segments are laser welded to the steel core. Each segment is produced prior to the welding procedure; this type of production allows better adaptation of metal bond, temperature and pressure to application.
The segments consist of diamond embedded metal powder. The metal bond must be suited to the material to be cut. The metal powder consists, for example, of bronze, copper, iron, metal carbides, tungsten carbide. The various properties of metal powder provide for sharpness and wear and tear of the segment. Segment coating is carried out by sintering. Therefore, abrasive materials require a hard bond against what hard materials call for soft bond.
High-pressure/temperature method Under high pressure and temperature the segments are bonded in large press moulds directly to the core. The beneficial keyed bond guarantees a high safety against loss of segments.
Brazing Brazing is used, in particular, for largesized blades and wet cutting.
Electroplating
Diamonds are the hardest known material. They are selected depending on the field of application. For diamond blade manufacture synthetic diamonds are solely used. Compared to natural diamonds, their properties are reproducible and controllable. The following quality characteristics are significant for selecting diamonds: ·· degree of purity ·· defined breaking strength ·· sharp edges ·· consistent geometry Diamonds are classified by quality levels and grain sizes.

3. Deviating, conflicting, or supplementary terms and conditions, even if known, do not become a part of the contract unless their application is approved in writing. Section 2 Conclusion of Agreements 1. Our quotations are non-binding. The corporation reserves the right to technical modifications as well as changes in the methods of manufacture, composition, materialswithin reasonable boundaries even after concluding an agreement as long as the price and the intended purpose of the goods remain unchanged. Unless our statements in quotations and confirmations are accompanied by documentation (drawings, specifications), such statements should be considered approximate only. 2. Ordering goods is a binding statement by a customer, that customer wants to purchase these goods. Verbal or written statements made prior to concluding an agreement can only become a part thereof if the parties expressly agreed to this. We are entitled to accept a contract offer as expressed in the purchase order within two weeks upon receipt. We can declare acceptance either in writing or by delivering the goods to the customer. 3. Purchase orders may be transmitted electronically if a business relationship already exists. First orders by customers can only be placed in writing. If customer orders goods electronically, we will immediately confirm receipt of the purchase order. Confirmation of receipt is not a binding acceptance of the purchase order. A notice of acceptance can be combined with the confirmation of receipt. 4. An agreement is concluded with the proviso of correct and timely deliveries by our suppliers. This applies to cases where we are not responsible for non-delivery, particularly when placing a congruent hedging transaction with our supplier. We will inform the customer about non-availability of the service immediately. Any consideration executed will be reimbursed immediately. 5. If a consumer orders goods electronically, we will store the wording of the agreement and, upon request, e-mail it to the customer together with these Terms and Conditions. 6. The customer accepts full liability for materials, drawings, samples, and models to be provided by the customer. The delivered items are binding for the order. Section 3 Reservation of Title 1. For agreements with consumers, we reserve the title to our goods until the purchase price has been paid in full. For agreements with businesspersons, we reserve the title to our goods until all claims from the current business relationship have been paid in full. 2. The Customer is obligated to treat the goods with care. 3. The Customer may neither pledge nor assign the reserved goods as security for a debt. The Customer is obligated to report any seizure of the goods by third parties, such as an attachment of property, as well as any damage or destruction of the goods to us immediately. Customer must report any change of possession of the goods as well as any change of his or her residence promptly. 4. We are entitled to withdraw from the agreement and to reclaim the goods if the customer violates the agreement, in particular, delays payment or violates a duty under paras. 2 to 4 of this Section. 5. Businesspersons are entitled to resell the goods in the ordinary course of business. Businesspersons assign in advance all claims against a third party accrued from such resale in the amount of the invoice to us. We accept the assignment. After assignment, businesspersons are authorized to collect the claims. We reserve the right to collect the sum due ourselves if a businessperson fails to meet his financial obligations and is in default. 6. Businesspersons always process goods on our behalf and by our order. If processing is performed using objects that do not belong to us, we become co-owners of the new item in the proportion the value of goods we delivered has to other objects processed. The same applies if the goods are mixed with other items that do not belong to us. 7. If the value of securities that exist for us exceeds our claims by a total of 10 %, we will release appropriate securities upon request. Section 4 Remuneration 1. The purchase price quoted is binding (but may be limited
If the consumer fails to notify, the consumer’s warranty rights expire two months after detection of the defect. This does not apply if the seller acted fraudulently. The onus of proof of the time when the defect was detected is on the consumer. If the consumer decided to buy the article based on untrue statements by the manufacturer, the onus of proof of his purchasing decision is on the customer. If the goods were used, the onus of proof that the article was defective is on the consumer.
3. If the customer changes an order later, any machine downtime caused and spezial labeling requests are subject to remuneration.
4. If the customer chooses to withdraw from the agreement due to a legal or material defect and after rectification has failed, customer may not claim additional damages based on the defect. 4. The customer undertakes to pay the purchase price without deductions within 30 days upon receipt of the goods. The customer will be in default when this period has expired. While in default, consumer customers have to pay interest of 5 % in addition to the base rate on the amount owed. We are not liable for any damages caused to the businessperson. We undertake to inform the businessperson of the suspension of deliveries promptly and in writing. The customer will only have a right to setoff if customer’s counterclaims were recognized by declaratory judgment or accepted by us. The customer can only exercise his right to retention if his counterclaim is based on the same contractual relationship. Section 5 Passing of Risk, Delivery 1. If the customer is a businessperson, the risk of accidental loss or deterioration of the goods is passed to the purchaser upon transfer, in the case of a sale by delivery to a place other than the place of performance upon delivery to the carrier or any other person or institution appointed to carry out the delivery. If the customer picks the goods up at our premises, the risk of accidental loss is passed to the customer when he indicates he is ready to ship. 2. Risk passes equally if the customer delays receipt. 3. When the goods are ordered, the parties agree on a binding delivery period or date. This period does not begin before the customer has done everything the customer was to provide in advance. Delivery period or date are deemed met when the goods have left our premises or if we have indicated that we are ready top ship by the date of expiry. If we are in default with our deliveries or services, customer should first grant a reasonable grace period. Customer may withdraw from the agreement upon expiry of that period. The delivery period is appropriately extended in cases of force majeure and unexpected obstacles that are beyond our control, if auxiliary materials are delivered late, and if subcontractors cause delays. We cannot be held responsible for these delivery problems even if they occur at a time when customer already experiences a delay. 3. Deviating, conflicting, or supplementary terms and conditions, even if known, do not become a part of the contract unless their application is approved in writing. Section 2 Conclusion of Agreements 1. Our quotations are non-binding. The corporation reserves the right to technical modifications as well as changes in the methods of manufacture, composition, materialswithin reasonable boundaries even after concluding an agreement as long as the price and the intended purpose of the goods remain unchanged. Unless our statements in quotations and confirmations are accompanied by documentation (drawings, specifications), such statements should be considered approximate only. 2. Ordering goods is a binding statement by a customer, that customer wants to purchase these goods. Verbal or written statements made prior to concluding an agreement can only become a part thereof if the parties expressly agreed to this. We are entitled to accept a contract offer as expressed in the purchase order within two weeks upon receipt. We can declare acceptance either in writing or by delivering the goods to the customer. 3. Purchase orders may be transmitted electronically if a business relationship already exists. First orders by customers can only be placed in writing. If customer orders goods electronically, we will immediately confirm receipt of the purchase order. Confirmation of receipt is not a binding acceptance of the purchase order. A notice of acceptance can be combined with the confirmation of receipt. 4. An agreement is concluded with the proviso of correct and timely deliveries by our suppliers. This applies to cases where we are not responsible for non-delivery, particularly when placing a congruent hedging transaction with our supplier. We will inform the customer about non-availability of the service immediately. Any consideration executed will be reimbursed immediately. 5. If a consumer orders goods electronically, we will store the wording of the agreement and, upon request, e-mail it to the customer together with these Terms and Conditions. 6. The customer accepts full liability for materials, drawings, samples, and models to be provided by the customer. The delivered items are binding for the order. Section 3 Reservation of Title 1. For agreements with consumers, we reserve the title to our goods until the purchase price has been paid in full. For agreements with businesspersons, we reserve the title to our goods until all claims from the current business relationship have been paid in full. 2. The Customer is obligated to treat the goods with care. 3. The Customer may neither pledge nor assign the reserved goods as security for a debt. The Customer is obligated to report any seizure of the goods by third parties, such as an attachment of property, as well as any damage or destruction of the goods to us immediately. Customer must report any change of possession of the goods as well as any change of his or her residence promptly. 4. We are entitled to withdraw from the agreement and to reclaim the goods if the customer violates the agreement, in particular, delays payment or violates a duty under paras. 2 to 4 of this Section. 5. Businesspersons are entitled to resell the goods in the ordinary course of business. Businesspersons assign in advance all claims against a third party accrued from such resale in the amount of the invoice to us. We accept the assignment. After assignment, businesspersons are authorized to collect the claims. We reserve the right to collect the sum due ourselves if a businessperson fails to meet his financial obligations and is in default. 6. Businesspersons always process goods on our behalf and by our order. If processing is performed using objects that do not belong to us, we become co-owners of the new item in the proportion the value of goods we delivered has to other objects processed. The same applies if the goods are mixed with other items that do not belong to us. 7. If the value of securities that exist for us exceeds our claims by a total of 10 %, we will release appropriate securities upon request. Section 4 Remuneration 1.
